I had friends that were staying here and I wanted to offer them a bottle of wine and a note to be brought up to the room including how I can add a tip for the person completing my request. I had an email with FIVE different employees and nobody was able to help me. Over 48 hours and not a single person knew how to take care of this simple request. I received one email from a concierge thanking me for my reservation and how they can help me for my future stay and another one asking to speak to me on the phone.... I then sent an email to just send me a wine list with a credit card authorization form, I never received a response after that. Very disappointing, my friends are gone and I will have to come up with another solution. They should be able to handle requests like this with their eyes closed.

My husband and I stayed here early in July for 2 weeks. We have visited Mexico before but this was our first time at this resort. It did not disappoint. The staff were absolutely amazing. The female waitress at the Colonial Pool bar walked for miles in the hot sun but always managed a smile. The guys on the Lobby bar were all great too and very efficient. The grounds are jungle like surroundings and the wildlife is fantastic. Hurricane Beryl hit during our visit and we had to move to White Sands which is also perfect. This didn't deter the staff, they all worked so hard to get the resort functioning again, and they did just that. Most of our time was spent at the Colonial restaurants and they were all super. The golf buggies that transport you around the resort was an absolute great addition to our holiday :)
All in all we had a fantastic 2 weeks here and can't wait to return next year. Keep up the good work guys and gals.

Review of Grand Palladium
I recently stayed at Grand Palladium, and while the experience had its ups and downs, there were some highlights worth mentioning. The service provided by our waiter, Pedro, was outstanding. He was incredibly attentive to our every need, always checking in to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we wanted. His friendly demeanor truly made our dining experience memorable.
However, the hotel rooms could use some updating. They are fine, but it’s clear that some renovations would enhance the overall comfort and appeal. Additionally, the closure of the White Sands pool was a disappointment, especially since this was not communicated during the booking process. It would have been helpful to know about this in advance.
One more thing to note is that the buffets can get quite full, especially during peak times, which sometimes made it challenging to find a table or enjoy a leisurely meal. Despite these drawbacks, the attentive service from staff like Pedro helped make the stay enjoyable overall.

This our second time to this resort. There are renovations taking place at the white sands resort but other than the colonial being busier, it did not impact on our stay.
The rooms are kept very clean and the mini bar is stocked daily.
Fernanda is a very nice, friendly and helpful waitress in the lobby area, she gave us some advice on the local drinks to try other than tequila and her suggestion was very good (xtabentun).
Food is good and varied, always something to choose from.
Bars are well stocked and drinks are flowing.
Javier at the egg station in the morning is amazing, remembered us from last year and always happy to talk.
Gardens and pool areas are kept immaculate.
Overall, great place to stay, staff are really friendly. No complaints and would definitely stay again.

Overall a wonderful experience for the price. Gorgeous hotel, great variety of areas to relax and food is top notch - the variety of restaurants made it for us and an amazing gym. Losing 1 star for a few subtle points considering it’s a ‘5 star’ hotel - pool is crazy deep it’s hard to enjoy, main restaurant seemed to be randomly closed on some days without any info, difficult to escape the loud/repetitive music, the rooms are comfy but need an update, finally queueing ages to be seated at restaurants when there’s tons of free tables is frustrating - limited by number of staff.
Overall absolutely great, but few points for improvement.
