Hilton Cancun, An All-Inclusive Resort

We stayed at Hilton All Inclusive Resort in Cancun for our Honeymoon! We got a wrap around corner ocean view balcony room and the balcony itself was my favorite part of the trip. We would keep the curtains open as we slept and woke up to a breathtaking sunrise every morning. The staff would go above and beyond and were personable and remembered us every day. They were warm, kind and generous with information about the resort. The room was comfortable, cleaned daily as long as we followed their instructions for cleaning. The beach was well maintained and clean with the exceptions of a few stray litter, service was prompt, and the hotel was clean, felt luxurious, warm, and most importantly safe. They have security at the entrance to the property and staff upon arrival is prompt to greet you and assist you from the vehicle. They were always kind and helpful with any information. The views were beautiful from the lobby, and I can’t speak enough about how beautiful decorated and designed the resort is. It was completely my aesthetic and I loved looking at all the beautiful decor. It was a pleasure to stay here for our honeymoon and I think the staff got wind that were there for our honey moon and we were surprised with a bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries and a handwritten note thanking us for choosing their resort to celebrate our special occasion. We never requested it they just went out of their way to surprise us. The included drinks in the bar lobby were delicious and you can see the staff working hard to be prompt even though they were overwhelmed with guests visiting the bar every night. They also have activities going on every day and post a schedule. They always ask you if you have any allergies and they have extensive vegan, vegetarian and gluten free food options. The only downside was that their food was kinda lacking in flavor, but the reservation restaurant La Luce (the only one we tried) was great! We went in March and check in was a little packed but throughout the week it didn’t feel too busy except for in the evenings when everyone was there for dinner and drinks. All in all I highly recommend this hotel for anyone!!! You will enjoy the views, service, beautiful hotel, and all inclusive services. We have already booked our next trip to this resort!!! Can’t wait to return!! ❤️

TLDR: This is the best all inclusive resort in Mexico; and I have been to dozens. Hilton has done an exceptional job with very high quality food that delights, staff that is joyful and predicts needs, and amenities for kids that mean you can enjoy a cocktail at anytime of day and know your kid is having a blast in a safe and welcoming envirornment. If I could give more than 5/5, I would! Multiple parts of the hotel are included in this review and the staff who were an integral part for each experience. 1) Amazing Italian dinner at La Luce at the Hilton! The food was delicious and authentic, and our server Teresa was fantastic—warm, attentive, and made the night special. We’ll definitely be coming back! 2) I also visited the Maxal taco bar multiple times. Sandy and Chef Lesley were a joy to be around. Very attentive, suggested delicious food and drink, and were always very welcoming and accommodating. Made our daytime pool experience 10/10 knowing we could hop over to Maxal taco outside bar area for all our needs. 3) My poolside experience was elevated to new heights by Elvarado and Olivia. Every need was taken care of, and anticipated! Fresh drinks, always bringing snacks without hesitation or without asking, and a smile and cheerful “my pleasure” after every conversation. It was OUR PLEASURE, let me tell you! This hotel has it all, and our poolside nerds were more than taken care of by Olivia and Elvarado.

1st day not so great. I don’t feel like we received enough info about the resort itself. I almost feel like I needed a personal tour to discover everything the resort offers. My experience at the Caribbean all inclusive resort was totally different. Now that I’ve had the chance to seek information and have a staff member personally show me all that the resort has to offer my experience is much more pleasant. Staff are super nice. The location is definitely on the outskirts. There is nothing around you.

Love the Hilton Cancun resort. The food was amazing. The Mexican restaurant, Maxal, was out of this world! The chef, Aldo, did such an amazing job with the birrira tacos, fish tacos and the mole. Me and my friends are obsessed. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who visits the Hilton Cancun. Our waitresses, Virley and Karla, were so attentive to our needs and they were so kind. Such a great experience!!

Pedro Kinil at the south pool cabanas was simply AMAZING! This one individual completely changed our trip into a wonderful experience. Patty at the south pool street taco stand was also wonderful. She works tirelessly in the heat and hot sun (the umbrella is angled for guests mostly). And Jose Daniel in the lobby was super helpful. The trio otherwise would have been rather negative due to constant lacking communication by the hotel front desk, laundry service, and concierge. No need to even discuss the water being off for the entire property for 6.5hrs and the resulting smell. But for Pedro in particular, and also Patty and Jose, our trip would have been so bad we would have left for another property.
