Small quiet resort with exceptional service, food and views. It's not the most modern resort, but it's very nice. Plenty of spots to relax by the pool or on the beach. Waitstaff comes by every 5 minutes. Has a sports bar that aired all the NFL games which was a very nice surprise. If you like good food, drinks, service and peace, this is you spot!

In this case I can only say that the staff at this hotel is outstanding, excellent treatment, incredible customer service, I loved it. Another thing is the food, I recommend it, in general the food in Mexico in general is fantastic. My only complaint is the drinks. The drinks are not good at all, I do not recommend drinking anything there. But in general we had a good time. That is why I give them these stars. Thank you for everything.

If you love LUXURY, this is not the resort for you.. If you care about cleanliness, DO NOT BOOK THIS RESORT.
Our room had stains of ketchup on the walls, the floor was dirty and all the surfaces were sticky. Even around the hotel, it is giving 3*.
Housekeeps are friendly but do not know how to clean. The pool was also dirty and covered with sand. I could also hear a male laughing to his friend about how he urinated in the pool. The clientele here reflect the state of the hotel.
For the price, I would've expected amazing service, food and general cleanliness.

Having visited Cancun on a number of occasions, the Hyatt Zilara is hands down the best!
The employees cater to your every need and always welcome you with a smile and greeting. They truly love their jobs and it shows in the hospitality.
All of the food locations were great but the Spice Buffet is Vegas class. Every night there is a different theme and the food is incredible. You could eat there every day and not get tired.
There is entertainment every night and if you were in Vegas, it would be expensive. Amazing performances night after night made the trip enjoyable.
The rooms might be my only complaint.....but they are getting ready for a major remodel to address that issue. Problem solved!
We are already planning our return trip - highly recommended!

We just arrived today for an 8-night stay and note many changes to increased costs, but not sure if the quality of stay remains. My husband and I have been to this resort 5 times over several years to celebrate our anniversary.
We are so disappointed to the many changes regarding up charges to previously included amenities here. Specifically, with the cabana & seating situation around the pool and beach. For years, ALL of the cabanas around the pools & on the beach, used to be available for all guests at no extra charge. Then around 2021-2022, they started charging fees for a few select cabanas around the pool & beach. Now they charge for EVERY cabana around the pool at a rate of $60-$80 PER DAY! This is outrageous and I am so disappointed that they’ve chosen this route to hustle more money from guests that paid for an all-inclusive experience at a resort! The reason that we select an all-inclusive 4-5 star resort is for pool & beach relaxation…so why the up charge for pool seating at an all-inclusive?? Major drawback for me. My husband and I share so many good memories and visits to this resort, sadly we will not return.
Buyer Beware and Note: Cabanas and lawn chairs around pool & beach, that are closer to the water, must be reserved for additional costs DAILY (on top of the expense of staying here). The “free chairs” (which are not good seating in comparison) are secluded in back rows and you must get up early to get one.
Many guests have an issue with this and Hyatt needs to get their act together (many of us will not return). As another reviewer mentioned, this particular hotel is already priced in the higher range and no other all-inclusive hotels are subjecting their guests to up-charged seating around the pools & on the beach!!!
