This place is huge. You have to walk miles to get from one spot to the next. They have shuttles but they never seem to be around when you need one or they're all going in the wrong direction or you get told it's not for you. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The shower was hard to get in and out off because the sides are too high and too wide with no hand rails. The food at all of the restaurants was very good. The beach was very nice. The pool was huge. I'd look for something more intimate next time.

We didn’t have a lot of expectations coming into this All-Inclusive but we were blown away by the food, service, and the facilities that Iberostar had. A BIG SHOUTOUT to Siomara of Front Desk who went above and beyond to help us. The Staff at LA PLAZA who tended to our needs all week. To the gardeners, people who cleaned the pool, the lifeguards — they were all amazing. Also, a shoutout to Luis Gabriel of the entertainment team who made our friend group feel like we were at home. Con: the only con was the concierge that tried to get us to go to a “free” breakfast at Iberostar Paraiso Lindo which was obviously a timeshare pitch. We said no because they tried to pitch this at the end of a looooong flight day and all we wanted was to get into the shower, eat, relax, and get to bed. Pro: The beach was gorgeous! The sargassum seaweed was on day 2 of our beach day but cleared up the rest of the week. The turquoise beach water was gorgeous. I found the del mar side of the pool to be quite loud but the paraiso beach pool was quite relaxing. The rooms were comfortable and housekeeping was on it when we needed extra towels, vanity kits, have our minibar refilled.

We are on our way home after 8 days at Iberostar Paraíso Beach for our wedding, and it was the best decision we could have made. Planning a destination wedding from afar can feel overwhelming, but the team at Iberostar, specifically Fernanda, took all of that stress away and turned it into something seamless, joyful, and unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in good hands. We are not newbies to this resort or Iberostar so I did hage high expectations. The wedding coordinators were organized, responsive, and calm, even when we had last-minute questions or small changes. We refused to discuss a rain plan, as I was confident woth the weather and Fernanda was lovely in goving me grace and understanding wirh timelines Every detail was handled beautifully: the ceremony setup was breathtaking, the flowers were exactly what we envisioned, and the reception felt effortless and fun. Our guests kept saying it was the most smooth and stress-free wedding. it allowed us to actually be present and enjoy the day. The food and drinks at the reception were outstanding (our guests are still talking about it), and the service was attentive without ever feeling rushed. We also loved that our friends and family were able to make a vacation out of it. The resort offered something for everyone: pools, activities, nightlife, and quiet spaces too. It gave people a chance to celebrate with us while also enjoying their own getaway. We were there to attend a wedding and I guess the wedding planner and related service was great. However, I was not at all impressed by the customer service. The place is large and there are no clear directions. On the bright side, you will get a lot of steps in each day. Like another reviewer mentioned the shuttles or golf carts are not dependable even after calling the front desk and requesting a ride it never showed up after twice the time they mentioned. The restaurants were ok, but perhaps I have been spoiled by way better places that don’t necessarily cost much more.
