Pros: taco restaurant, compass bar, the two restaurants you have to make a reservation for, most of the staff. Great place for a few nights and if you’re good with hunkering down to chill. Cons: dinner at the beach house, breakfast is actually quite good but their dinner is horrible. I don’t know why but the 2 dinners we had there were awful. Food was barely room temp, my son and I got a bit of a stomach bug. Repeat pressure to attend the 90min. membership breakfast spiel. Super expensive excursions (unless you attend the 90min. Bfast spiel) (we found services much cheaper outside the resort) Towels running out, chair hogs, folks not clearing their glasses and towels after they leave so chairs look occupied but aren’t. TripAdvisor website blocked from their network. Pro tip: bring bug spray for dinner on the beaches, noseeums got my wife’s feet good! All in all we had a great relaxing trip but the overall experience could be elevated with a few tweaks.

Highly recommend the chill vibe of Margaritaville Drinks are phenomenal actually. None of that super sweet overdone resort stuff here. Premium only! Plenty of activities that don’t use megaphones to interrupt your sunshine pool time. But still offering all the drama and glam of the large resorts with a more homey personalized touch and feel. Staff are so awesome! Tania and Landy were lovely coordinating painting sessions. And I thoroughly enjoyed my morning yoga and pilates sessions with Landy! She is amazing! Her routines are well planned and she is very attentive to her audience's needs. What a pleasure it was to have yoga and pilates most every day! Angel was sweetheart checking us in and getting his work out bringing our luggage to our rooms Diana and Greysi were massage queens! The spa is a must do. Get one of their many promotions to make it more affordable as it is beyond pricey without. Makes it untouchable for Canadians due to exchange rate honestly. And when in Mexico… prices should reflect Mexico not America. But the overall experience is amazing with the infrared sauna, eucalyptus steam, cold and hot plunge pools (which you can purchase alone if you desire but they do come with the spa services!). All servers were so kind and helpful throughout the resort. You will never be left “wanting” anything. The food is also amazing!!! No complaints at all. Simply wow so far! UPDATE: We had a couple evenings of less than hot meals come to our table from the main restaurant a la carte menu and I must say that ALL STAFF in the restaurant were incredibly doting and accommodating to do anything and everything to make that right for us. They were extremely apologetic and made sure we had a phenomenal experience thereafter. No stone was left unturned to ensure our complete satisfaction which is so rare these days! It was so immensely appreciated. All Staff are simply lovely!! The beach is gorgeous and you can walk for miles and miles. The resort is so incredibly cute. It’s showing some signs of age but it didn’t bother us at all due to the fact that it was incredibly quaint and cute and boutique like. You will feel so calm and at complete peace here. This is what a vacation should be when all you want and need is to chill!

We were upgraded to the presidential ocean front suite for our wedding and it was perfect! The room was beautiful! All of the staff was fantastic especially our wedding coordinator Yectli. She went above and beyond surpassing our needs and expectations. This was our second time there and we will definitely be coming back to celebrate our anniversary! Thank you to the staff for making our wedding dreams come true!

Such a great place to vacation. Our boys are 6 and 11 so we don’t need a big night life. The kids club was perfect for our bambino! He loved the staff and the other friendly kids! Food was great Couldn’t get enough of Rita’s tacos…. All the staff were pleasant and the facilities were super clean!
