I'm staying at the resort with my boyfriend for 10 nights. After a 12-hour flight, we were given a very warm welcome at the hotel. What we particularly liked about the hotel was the selection of restaurants and in the boathouse in particular, we had super friendly waiters. Marcelo and Jaime in particular always had a smile and witty sayings ready. Of course, there was no shortage of tequila here either. There is currently no sandy beach and no access to the sea either, as it was destroyed by a storm. But that's not a problem because of the 2 beautiful pools. If we come to Mexico again, we would definitely book the hotel again.

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic! The Boathouse crew went above and beyond, making the experience unforgettable. And Mexican night? Simply incredible—the tacos were out of this world! Jaime made every dinner feel special, and Carlos provided exceptional service with great attention to detail. My wife and I would happily return, and next time, we’ll bring extra cash to tip even more for the outstanding service!

Service staff were great. Luis and the bartenders in the Salted Rim were excellent. Luis was friendly, efficient and made excellent cocktails. Febe in the concierge was friendly and polite, even if she couldn’t ultimately solve our issues. Erick and Marcello, our waiters in the boathouse, were fast, efficient and very attentive.
While the room was lovely, and quite nicely appointed, we were facing the rooftop of the resort next-door, and could not use our balcony due to the extremely loud noise of the air conditioners on the rooftop next-door.
We were here for two weeks, and asked to be moved upon hours of our arrival and were jerked around by the front desk staff. The front desk staff was rude and condescending, and tried to be intimidating.
And while the resort itself is beautiful, I cannot give it a high score as it has absolutely no beach. So if you were looking for a beach holiday, this is not your place. If you love the pool and hanging in the bar, those were good experiences.

Amazing and relaxing trip! Our butlers, Mariel and Karen were exceptional. They went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed in our rooms and by the pool. Charlie the pool side manger always exceeded our expectations and had chairs and towels ready for us. Carlos, “the wine guy”, was one of our favorites!!!! He provided us with great information about wine and helped us make lovely selections at dinner. Jazziel was our server at a candlelight dinner and he made sure everything was perfect!

Salted rim for the win. Best margaritas in the house. Luis is so friendly and welcoming. Victor has shown me the light with the chocolate martini’s. Mi espouse loves them. Thank you so much for the great cocktails. I’d say you should go here for the best cocktails. The staff are amazing.
