Just returned from Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya, and had a fabulous time! The service at this hotel was excellent from our speedy check-in, to the attentive staff.
Staff members went above and beyond to make our stay special. Noel and Erick at the Boathouse and License to Chill were so attentive and went out of their way to make sure all our meals were wonderful.
Also, our butlers Isaac and Armando did an amazing job keeping us informed on daily activities, dinner reservations and that our room was stocked with what we needed.
Lastly, I wanted to mention Carlos in the Prestige Lounge, who made sure we had our towels and chairs by the pool set for us everyday!

Loved all the food here - you can’t miss at any of the restaurants! Eric at Boathouse was our server a few times and he was excellent.
Steakhouse - highly recommend picking out your own steak. Best steak you’ll ever eat.
Italian (Frank & Lola’s) - flippin incredible! Pizza, amazing. Pasta, solid.
Salted Rim drinks were fun and nice to have a fancy cocktail!

Had a wonderful experience at Boat House, Gerardo Grisel was phenomenal! Every night that he has served us has been a wonderful and pleasurable experience! He has taken care of us and made us laugh at all times! Service was truly amazing! The food was absolutely phenomenal! Will recommend this place And hospitality at all times! Everything was awesome with the exception of one interaction that I will explain later. The service in the Boathouse was great! Erick was awesome! His attentiveness, promptness and willingness to assist was unmatched. However, our initial experience at the Landshark was not so great. We asked Eliza for a table. She responded saying there was nothing available and that “they were serving barbecue at the Boathouse”. We never mentioned barbecue so her comment was racist, rude and condescending. As being a large part of the black people on the property, we were totally offended and even considered checking out early. Please assist Eliza with people skills and how to keep comments based on her personal beliefs to herself when working in customer service.

Best of the best, wonderful experience at this resort. Everyone was amazing and showed up a great experience. We visited the boathouse often to see our favorite server (Gerardo) he always welcomed us with a warm smile and great sense of humor. Gerardo and the rest of the staff is the reason we will be back, we highly recomend. If you are here, go ask for Gerardo at the boathouse he is awesome!!
