Our stay at the Intercontinental was fantastic! The resort itself is beautiful, and the staff were incredibly attentive throughout our visit. There were plenty of activity options to keep us entertained. We snorkeled off the dock daily, which was a highlight, and had great fun with water skiing—made even better by a fantastic instructor. I also joined a Sega dance class (the traditional Mauritian dance) thanks to some friendly encouragement from Reshma, who was always a welcoming presence on the staff.
The food was excellent across the board. We tried all the restaurants, and each one was brilliant. Even the buffet exceeded expectations with a wide variety of well-prepared dishes. We were never left waiting long for drinks either—Kelly, in particular, stood out as an attentive and friendly face at the bar.
The all-inclusive package was truly comprehensive, with a great selection of food and drinks. It's very clear if anything requires a supplement, but the main menus offer plenty of choices as part of the package.
Both check-in and check-out were smooth, and we felt well looked after from start to finish. The entire experience was stress-free, and we never had to worry about a thing. Highly recommend this resort for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

The hotel setting is beautiful, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. However, there were several aspects that could have been improved during our stay. For example, a minor repair issue in the shower was not resolved despite our repeated requests. Additionally, ongoing construction work was supposed to grant us all-day access to the restaurant; however, upon arrival, we were initially told this wasn’t possible, and we had to wait nearly an hour to be served.
The booking process is also inconvenient, as it requires a bank transfer before arrival, with no option to pay on-site. The hotel made it clear that the reservation would be canceled if the transfer wasn’t made. Additionally, it was sometimes difficult to access the restaurant for dinner, as we were told it was fully booked when there was actually space available—fortunately, a staff member eventually allowed us to dine there.
The room is beautiful and clean, with a very enjoyable jacuzzi, but the balcony was unusable due to pigeon droppings. The valet service isn’t always available either, which can be inconvenient as the parking is not nearby and can make transporting belongings difficult. Lastly, the hotel’s location is rather isolated.
Despite these inconveniences, the hotel is very beautiful, and the staff is welcoming. I recommend it for a short stay of 1 or 2 nights if you simply want to enjoy the hotel itself.

the water activities are very interesting, the man in the boat house offered us to have a dolphin watching trip and we told him we have a bad trip few days ago, he told us if you don’t see the dolphins don’t pay.
the water in the pool was warm and suitable for kids.
love the night vibes in the hotel
and we loved that most of the north activities are just few minutes away from the hotel

I stayed at the hotel for a week and the experience has been amazing. The resort is a complete luxury and has some mesmerizing views and delicious food.
A special shoutout to Mayank who helped us throughout from ensuring a smooth check in till check out. He personally took care of us and provided the best possible solution. He was well aware of everything and complete knowledge of hotel and it's services. People like Mayank make us feel like home.
Overall, the experience was amazing and I would like to comeback here for another trip. Thank you IHG for making this a memorable one.
