Young couple visited from the UK in July 2025. Absolutely incredible stay from start to finish. The staff genuinely cannot do enough for you, from the reception staff to the rooftop bar to the adjoining restaurant. The rooms are spacious, clean and come with all the usual amenities. One of the things we also loved was the ‘convenience room’ where you can access water, coffee, fresh fruit and cookies all at no extra charge! Another of our favourite parts was the rooftop bar, its incredible - fabulous views of the Empire State Building and great cocktails. All in all a wonderful stay, would highly recommend to all and we can’t wait to come back. Thanks in particular to Rodney, Eddie, Joey and Floyd - you guys were incredible!

Recently stayed in a Lux Family room with our two children. The separate bedroom was the perfect set up for us. Rooms were clean and quiet! Rooftop bar had great views. Location is half block from Herald Square subway station, with a direct train to almost anywhere you want to go, and walkable to many destinations as well.

Great hotel in excellent location. Seconds to subway (orange and yellow lines). The room was perfectly sized and in great condition. Sheets, towels and bathroom were very clean. Everything was operational and easy to use. The interior design felt modern and classic and the same time. The staff was attentive and accommodating and always with a smile.

The Kixby is a quaint hotel that's the perfect location for a trip to NYC! It's an older hotel but it's been remodeled/well loved. The rooftop bar is an ideal place to grab a drink and see the Empire State Building which is only a block away! It's close to the subway and Penn Station and within walking distance to Times Square. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel over the chain hotel next door! Loved it!

We recently stayed here for 9 nights and couldn't have been happier. The room we had (Queen) was spacious, clean and tidy with everything we needed. Each day the housekeepers did a fantastic job cleaning the room and providing fresh linens and towels. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Jose especially, after helping my now wife with her wedding dress, organising a steamer from the housekeepers to help get the creases out of her wedding dress after coming across on the flight to NYC, we couldn't believe it! We were also given complimentary water bottles that saved us a fortune in the heatwave (34c/93f) by using the water station on the 2nd floor each day. At 3pm, they also lay on complimentary fruit and cookies for the residents to take advantage of. The coffee machine is good too! The Black Tap restaurant serves some really great food which is annexed on to the ground floor, we recommend going! On top of that, The Lookup Rooftop Bar is really relaxed and welcoming with some of the best views of The Empire State building you can get in the city. Location wise, Herald Square has the easiest subway connections to pretty much anywhere you need to get to, we didn't have to change lines at all to get to all the spots we visited whether uptown, downtown or down to Brooklyn. Safe to say, we will be back. Fantastic hotel with great staff, location, service, food and drinks.
