I would definitely recommend this hotel. Everything was lovely, the rooms were nice, the food and the ambiance was amazing. I would definitely come back with my family, this time was a girls trip. The employees were welcoming and most importantly the entertainment, I have to give it to them, they put in work and made everything so much more fun! One of the entertainers that stood out, his name was JC. He made the pool games super fun and where ever we spotted him, he was active and engaging. I needed some movement after eating so much ahaha! Zumba was fun and much needed, he was funny and kind! Definitely look out for JC on your next trip to Lopesan!

Domingo familia, marileydi Berroa and Erick Pen̈a at la permanent bar were so friendly. Approachable and made our experience a very pleasant one !!! They brought our drinks to us and their customer service exceeded our expectations!! They were always smiling and happy to serve us. They worked so hard and they continuously made sure the guests were looked after and satisfied. 10/10 service!! Thankyou so much for looking after us and for going above and beyond!!! :)

Horrible and not at all recommended: I decided to propose to my partner. After a very uncordial and borderline condescending exchange, I learned that a romantic dinner with a heart decoration, candles, and a photographer would cost me $1,700 USD, so I abandoned the idea. Upon our arrival, a communication problem with Booking cost us an additional $4,400 USD on top of the $6,700 USD we had initially planned. After an unpleasant exchange, without a single smile and with a lot of condescension, we understood that the hotel would not make any gesture to help us. We paid the extra amount. We booked two rooms. They were nice rooms, but with broken fixtures. The Wi-Fi, the phones, and the air conditioning didn't work. One of our children's beds was not made and we had to ask several times for it to be done. The hotel is very beautiful, and its beach is lovely, but with only five meters of space for swimming. The choice of restaurants is very comprehensive, but the food is not good at all. Furthermore, you have to leave tips to see smiles appear on the staff's faces, 80% of whom are very unpleasant. There were several power outages, one of which lasted more than four hours. I wonder what happened to the cold chain; I think that many of the food items were expired but were still served. Our youngest child got sick and vomited during the night. Essentially, every day brought a new problem. After too many issues, my partner and I decided to complain on the hotel's application. Two minutes later, we received a call to apologize and offer us a bottle of wine in our room—a gesture that is not a sustainable solution and which I find incredible for a hotel that is supposed to be 5-star. And believe it or not, after our negative comment, one of the staff members came and urinated in one of our suitcases. After I complained, a team came to inspect, confirmed that it was indeed urine, offered us a free laundry service which never materialized, and conducted an investigation which, unsurprisingly, led to nothing. In summary, we thought we were coming to the Lopesan to enjoy an extraordinary, paradisiacal vacation for the price of $15,000 USD, but instead we found a nightmare and contempt. It's not just that we don't recommend this hotel; we beg you not to go because it is a disaster.

Domingo familia, Marileydi Berroa and Erick peña at la Perla Bar were fantastic bartenders and very attentive during our stay. They have excellent customer service skills and always made sure our needs were met with a smile. They are very skilled in making cocktails and there wasn't a drink they couldn't make for us! I would definitely recommend them. They went above and beyond and even came over to us and asked what we wanted from the bar without us having to leave our sun loungers or leave the pool. These staff members are a credit to Lopesan.

Amazing resort, very well maintained and lots of vegetation. The sand was beautiful on the beach but the beach itself could be better maintained. Loved the friendly service and the delicious food. My favourite was the Mexican and the Asian restaurant. The best part were the infinity pools and the water park. The rooms were very clean and well maintained- everything looked new. Could have some fitness classes for those who don’t like to workout themselves in the gym. Loved the resort and everything it had to offer. Recommended to my friends and family.
