The Good:
- Our butlers, Monique and Alexus, provided outstanding service. They were attentive, accommodating, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we felt special and well taken care of.
- The floating bungalows were a great retreat from the busy main resort. The room was well-equipped with amenities, making it easy to relax without needing to leave.
The Bad:
- The resort is directly under the flight path, meaning every outbound flight passes right overhead. The noise is loud enough to completely drown out conversations, even at close range.
- The food was underwhelming. The worst experience was at the Italian restaurant, where the meal tasted like a frozen dinner reheated in a microwave.
- Service was extremely slow across all dining experiences. Every dinner took about two hours from start to finish, and breakfast on our last morning took over an hour—so long that we had to leave before we could even eat.
- Unfortunately, we had cash stolen from our belongings within the first two days. It was well hidden inside a folded pair of pants in a bag, yet whoever took it carefully placed everything back as if nothing had happened. After reporting it to the "security director," the response felt dismissive once we declined to involve local authorities. For a resort costing over $6,000, theft should not be a concern.
Overall:
While the all-inclusive experience had its perks, the negatives far outweighed the positives. Given the price, we expected much better and would opt for a different Caribbean destination in the future.

Great experience at Sandals Royal Caribbean. I have stayed at multiple Sandals resorts and this one is among the best. All the staff, from butlers, dive instructors, loyalty and travel, restaurant staff and housekeeping were all so friendly and welcoming. Yes there are planes that fly over the resort a few times a day, but outside of that the resort is very quiet and relaxing and really close to the airport. I will definitely return to this resort. Thank you Sandals Royal Caribbean for an amazing vacation!

Very very happy with our week stay at the Royal Caribbean ! This was our 2nd time back in 10 years. Very relaxing. Room was beautiful. We had an ocean view 10 years ago Was gorgeous! This time poolside luxury walkout, which was a bit more noisy. However still amazing! Food was delicious, drinks were great and service was perfect ! Thank you for a terrific week !

Very very average and by no means a 5 star resort. The service was slow and even slower in the second week. The staff worked hard but I believe there weren't enough of them. It was telling that at the buffet breakfasts the service levels were the best. In the evenings at dinner particularly in the second week the gaps between being attended to dropped significantly We visited the other resort where service levels were marginally better.
There is only an artificial beach with a swimming area where you can at best get waist deep. Many of the outdoor activities advertised didn't exist. The table tennis table was two different levels, and the pool table sloped downwards and to the right. The food was bland under seasoned and overly sweet. The entertainment was hilariously amateur. There was also construction work going on in our block and by the sea front. A new wing opened in the second week which had an impact on service levels. We had the bed turn down service twice in 14 nights and there were no bath robes in the room. Our room manager introduced herself on the night before we left. After we gave her the feedback, we felt sure there would be a turn down service that night but typically there wasn’t.

Just to give a non bias evaluation on this property... The trip it self was great; whats not to like about 85 degree weather in January. The property for the most part is decent. The problem areas were... the bars at the pool and outside shut down at 5pm and 6pm. The airport is very close and planes are very loud. The service is very slow and the wait times for dinner is excrusatingly long. We ate dinner at Spice's our last night night one hour wait for a table and two hours for dinner. The nice stuff - staff was friendly, the island is a must the little private beach was awesome. Avoid the pizza, it is not good. The jerk chicken was great though!
