Wow this hotel is amazing! True 5 star resort. Service was great and the non alcoholic drinks were really good here with lots of choices. Rooms were very nice and big.
I was a little skeptical after reading some of the recent low reviews but glad I ignored them and came. This place is truly very nice!!!
Food - Italian restaurant - Pizza was delicious. Japanese restaurant and the market buffet (breakfast and lunch only) food were good with lots of options. Overall the food was really good (all inclusive rating scale 8/10)
The rooftop area was really nice and even more inclusive with a great view of the hotel and ocean.
Only complaint would be the pool was cold, nothing was heated except the jacuzzi.
Spa was great too, probably one of the best massages I have had.
Overall great stay and I would highly recommend this place.

Wonderful hotel. Beautiful architecture, delicious food, lots of pools, and a small but relaxing beach.
I stayed as a regular guest, no preferred and not impressions, and I thought the service was just okay at the pools. It was excellent at the beach and restaurants. Room service was top notch as well.
I think drinks could have been better, but that’s where tipping really works wonders. Overall, great hotel!

The Resort is beautiful, private outdoor tub is nice. The dining options are varied and freedom to choose some of the best cuisine in true Hyatt form. It was that good! Service staff were sweet , personable and attentive. Beach drinks all day. If your an ocean lover check the seaweed season levels it determine entry. Many pools & privacy. Outdoor entertainment a bonus as well.

The food, the service, the attention to detail is just amazing. You have never experienced luxury in an all-included like this. The elegance and luscious finishes can be appreciated in every corner of this gorgeous resort. Each member of their crew goes out of their way in every possible opportunity to make sure you feel served, attended to the max. The environment is just out of this world.

Sadly a really bad experience due to food/water contamination at this 'luxury' hotel (and I'm not the only one). A 14 night stay at Secrets Moxche Playa del Carmen was ruined due to food poisoning!!!! I spent 7 days of my holiday confined to our room feeling absolutely rotten - a trip of a lifetime was absolutely ruined. I notified the Conciege that I was ill and the response was underwhelming and lacked any real empathy. According to the staff there were NO other reports of illness - however a Wedding party were on site at the same time and half of their Wedding party including the Groom fell ill with food poisoning!! The staff failed to take my illness seriously or investigate the multiple cases of illness which amounts to nothing short of neglect. People were very ill requiring medical attention and the staff just brushed it aside without a care in the World. The hotel has a duty of care to look after their guests and investigate such matters with due care and diligence. A beautiful resort tarnished by poor customer service. Yes, I was unlucky to be ill and it could happen anywhere but when multiple people fall ill at an all inclusive resort it should be investigated thoroughly to prevent the same thing happening to other guests.
Extremely disappointed and would never venture back to the hotel ever again! It may look amazing but if you value your health, think twice!
