Wow this hotel is amazing! True 5 star resort. Service was great and the non alcoholic drinks were really good here with lots of choices. Rooms were very nice and big.
I was a little skeptical after reading some of the recent low reviews but glad I ignored them and came. This place is truly very nice!!!
Food - Italian restaurant - Pizza was delicious. Japanese restaurant and the market buffet (breakfast and lunch only) food were good with lots of options. Overall the food was really good (all inclusive rating scale 8/10)
The rooftop area was really nice and even more inclusive with a great view of the hotel and ocean.
Only complaint would be the pool was cold, nothing was heated except the jacuzzi.
Spa was great too, probably one of the best massages I have had.
Overall great stay and I would highly recommend this place.

Amazing resort with great food and service. Need to enhance the butler service a little more if you pay for that on the Impressions side. All ocean view rooms are nice. The shows are fantastic! Activities staff keeps many things going if you want to enjoy them or just relax in all the awesome pools. Beach is very nice for walking and they are always cleaning it up and raking!! Spa is amazing and well worth it!!
One downfall is the bourbon and wine selection with all inclusive. Not many upper scale choices. Wine cellar is great but you pay about $100 per bottle.
Overall amazing resort with great service, food and activities!!

This property has ended my experience with all inclusive resorts, period. The math just doesn’t add up anymore if this is supposed to be a top tier version. We got a decent deal in early November through Delta vacations and I cannot imagine paying more. We had the private pool room which was a nice layout, but not clean, with stains on the furniture, bird poop all over the patio, and lpiles of dust on the bedside tables. Icky.
The impressions pools are quite nice, and the food on the impressions side specifically is good, not great, and that’s where it ends. We ate at the Mexican restaurant the first night and no joke it was the absolute worst tortilla chip and guacamole I’ve ever had in my life. How do you even mess that up? The kind that you’d expect on an airplane. Come on. The bar on the impressions side is miniature and those daily snacks are a joke and complete waste that no one consumes. They don’t give you any special treats in your room - it’s cheap peanuts and off brand gross candy, cutting costs at every turn. The “sparkling wine” in your room, and any of the wine we had at every restaurant, was horrible and left a hole in my stomach. It’s all about them edging you out of consuming or up selling you their overpriced “better” wine or food in each and every scenario . The first couple of days were frustrating with the “butler” who was extremely young and annoying; not helpful in any way. Messaging us constantly to check in and then being super slow to, for example bring us still waters. Why aren’t their bottled waters in the room to begin with!?! Our electronic room keys didn’t work multiple times, and you have to download some app and sign in to use them. More hurdles. They try to over sell you with corny comments like “welcome home”, and then called our room, on vacation, before 9am each of the first few days to go listen to their sales pitch. Just let us relax please. Then when I finally walked down to hear it, they made me wait 20 min for a worker to show up and read me a pamphlet for 5 min. What! Why!?! Just leave me alone.
The ocean was giant cement structures to minimize the waves and is not nice to swim in, which we knew going in, but still not ideal. There are a ton of other pools, some of them nice, some of them weird. In this low season period, every single chair was taken at the non impressions side every day; I can’t imagine in peak season, it must be complete mayhem. The drinks were weak. Other things to mention include the spa which isn’t included, not even the steam rooms (which were super small compared to other places we’ve been), the room service food which I felt was intentionally bad to prevent you from ordering it.
Overall the property was huge and had some nice points, but I know for a fact we could’ve had a better experience/value somewhere else. We can enjoy ourselves anywhere, and we certainly still had fun here, but we had much higher expectations going in.

First and foremost, many thanks to Fernanda and Saul for the amazing experience. The resort is beyond imagination of luxury and cozy. The views are astonishing, and the service is as accommodating as it can get. I had the pleasure of visiting several Secrets resorts, and this one is definitely top choice.

We stayed here for seven days in a swimout room. The check-in was seamless, and our room was large, well-appointed, and quiet.
Our pool service was awesome. It rained a bit, and our pool concierge Jacobe was always on the spot to put up our umbrella, get us fresh towels, and clean our glasses. Roberto, our server, always brought us drinks/food and checked on us regularly. Even when it rained!
One thing we would like is to have a bar that offers service open at 4:00pm. We like to sit, have a drink, and play a dice game. A small inconvenience for us but something for us to consider
