Avoid if You Have Dietary Restrictions
If you have any dietary restrictions, I strongly recommend avoiding this resort unless you want to take a huge risk (you could get really sick).
We are vegetarians, and despite clearly communicating this to staff multiple times—both when being seated and to the waitstaff—our meals at two different restaurants included beef and fish. It felt like dietary preferences weren’t taken seriously, and the staff seemed uninterested in accommodating special requests. If you have restrictions just avoid the resort and it would good for you and also the staff.
While the resort made efforts to ensure we received the correct food the following day after we complained, two incidents in a single day are unacceptable. The resort attempted to dismiss it as an isolated mistake, but this shows a lack of seriousness in addressing dietary preferences.
What We Liked:
The Chic Cabaret show is exceptional and worth every penny.
The beaches were clean, spacious, and well-maintained.
The resort offers plenty of entertainment options, from workshops and chocolate tastings to karaoke nights, ensuring there’s always something to do.
Both the French and Italian restaurants at TRS Coral stood out for their quality.
One Negative for us (this may not apply to all):
Language barriers were noticeable—while straightforward requests are manageable, explaining specific or unique needs can be challenging as not all staff are proficient in English.
TRS Coral vs. Grand Palladium:
We recommend TRS Coral unless there’s a significant price difference between the two.

We had the absolute best time at TRS Coral. What a fabulous vacation. Super enjoyed the rooftop karaoke with the live band, and our sushi making class with Angel and the chef! The food was delicious, and they were so friendly. Misa was extremely helpful with answering all of our questions, and helping us to make reservations, recommending activities, and giving us directions. He is also a lovely person and so fun to chat with!! Reuben and Angel both held aqua pole classes, and I had SO much fun in both!! They made it so easy for everyone to feel comfortable and have a great time. I wish they offered classes like these back at home too! Definitely go see the shows at the theater as well! We saw the Latin show, and the Pirate show. Miranda hosted an excellent tequila tasting, it was delicious as well as informative! Cant wait to come back and see more!

We have been at TRS for 6 days. The resort has been beautiful and amazing. The bed is slightly uncomfortable - very firm. And definitely ask for a dehumidifier - the rooms are very clean! But the beach is amazing - chairs are comfortable and new with plenty of umbrellas. The pool is so much fun - loved water aerobics!
The service of the bartenders at the beach and pool areas are outstanding - especially Daniel, he makes the best orange margaritas on the resort!
