Carlos and Fernando in villa 68 were top notch. Carlos’ constant positivity, and Fernando’s knowledge of things around the property made for a top notch experience with the room we had. From the beginning of our stay, Fernanda with the Expedia team made sure that everything we experienced throughout the trip was next level special. Chic Cabaret is a must see, and if I can suggest, splurge for the Premium Experience at least one day. It is well worth it. Roberto was our server for our “romantic dinner”, and was outstanding. Personable, professional, and made the experience feel second to none. Thank you to everyone for this wonderful stay! We will be back.

We are not at this hotel unfortunately, we are at grand palladium colonial hotel next door, we booked on our second day a dinner show LE CHIC , which is AT the TRS YUCATAN , we had our ticket for 4 for the dinner show , unfortunately when we arrived there our names were not in the list , someone forgot to book us , and we couldn’t get in . Anyway the response from our concierge was not that good but instead we had NESTOR , an activity coordinator from the TRS YUCATAN hotel who really went beyond his duty to help us with the situation. We are very grateful and pleased with all his efforts to book us for the next show and finding us a restaurant to have our evening meal as it was very late , we even got a bottle of wine extra , that he carried on himself to the restaurant. We couldn’t find any more words of appreciation for Nestor’s best efforts for the night. He is a very happy smiley pro active caring person who does his job well and makes people happy to be here . Thanks again to Nestor , 🥰

We stayed here for a destination wedding.
This place is easily a 5 star resort. The butler service alone was over the top. We were upgraded from a swim up room to a two story ocean view room, with a hot tub on our balcony. While we were at dinner, our butler packed our bags and moved everything to our new room. He then unpacked everything and meticulously folded everything.
The spa service was incredible. My wife and I got the full treatment, from a couples massage, to sauna, steam room, hot and cold plunge tubs, and more.
The only thing they need to work on is front desk service for check in.
I would definitely recommend this place.

It was our first time in TRS Yucatan and we were amazed by the quality of service and attention to detail this resort has! Although it is quite far from downtown Cancun (around 2 hours), it was well worth the travel. We could tell that the staff loves their job because they are always happy to go above and beyond for us and delivered top quality service every time. We stayed in a suite with private pool, and the room was very clean and modern. Our butlers, Alexis & Israel, were very attentive and took care of everything we need including room service, ordering rides to go to different parts of the resort (because it is huge!), and booking our dinner reservations. I’ve been to a lot of all inclusive resorts but this is the only one I would want to come back to!

Pros:
The resort is beautiful, rooms are lovely, amenities are great and security is good.
Cons:
The food is mediocre at best
You can't get a dinner reservation at a decent hour unless you are really lucky.
Even if you are told that you can't get in to a restaurant, you can slip the Hostess $10 and they will get you in right away.
There is no beach area right at the TRS, however it is not too far to walk to.
Anyone having their wedding here, will have to do more micro-managing than they want to, or should have to.
When checking in to my room, there was a dirty mattress on the floor.
A few days later, a dirty rag was left on the handle of my shower door.
Summary:
Overall, for a resort that refers to itself as "Luxury" which also implies a higher level of service, the TRS Yucatan falls very short.
Don't' get me wrong, there were over 40 of us there for a wedding and we had a blast, but there was not one of us that said we would return. Definitely NOT worth the hefty price tag.
