They misrepresented the room we booked. We specifically chose an ocean view room, but received no view of the ocean. During our half day dispute with the hotel, they said the trees grew, and since the system shows it as an ocean view room, there is not anything they could do. After a continued push to make this right, they finally gave us a room with a sliver of an ocean view, but mostly the back of a restaurant.
Also, they shut off the cold water one day with no heads up. I was in the shower and the water went completely hot. Also, for the time the water was off, we had no use of the toilet use. I understand that work must be done, but a heads up is expected.
The food was amazing! Bars were fast and drinks were good. The beach and pool area were gorgeous.
Be mindful of the chairs at the pool. They are very limited and you may have to wait if you do not get there earlier than 10:00 AM.

The staff is amazing!
Martha and Enrique at Helios are the absolute best! Martha was our waitress all week and Enrique made our coffee every morning and afternoon. We went to Helios every day just to see them!
In addition, we bring a group to the resort with MICE a few times a year and every time we work with Andrea, it is incredible. She is well organized and communicates with us every day with anything we need.

Helios—Martha is truly a special and caring person. We have come to know her since we starting coming to TRS. She really looks after us and goes above and beyond to make us feel special. There are always extra touches at our table and we absolutely love visiting with her. Her colleague Gabino is also excellent. We always ask to be placed in Martha’s section and thank you to the front desk staff for always making this happen for us—“With Martha.” Always warm greetings and superior service from them too. Well done! Helios is definitely a home away from home when we travel to TRS Yucatan. See you all next time.

Had a fabulous time here on our honeymoon. We were upgraded to a Cabaña free of charge. Whole staff is very nice and helpful - we had an urgent medical situation and had to see the resort doctor, who directed us to seek attention at a nearby hospital. They made the process so smooth, from calling a taxi for us and sending a medical report to the hospital. The restaurants are also excellent. I would highly recommend this all inclusive to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
