Our stay at Breathless Punta Cana was amazing! The food and drinks were fantastic, and the rooms were very clean. I especially want to mention the entertainment team—they were incredible! Chanty was super fun and very charismatic. We truly enjoyed every single day of our stay!

We had a fantastic stay at the Breathless Resort. The property is beautiful, easily walkable, and has the friendliest staff. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and the pools are large with plenty of seats. We chose to upgrade to the Xhale club, and it was a worthwhile decision. We had access to a more private breakfast buffet and quieter pools. Our concierge, Miguel, made sure to check in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Our room was clean with a great view of the ocean. And housekeeping came regularly to tidy. The attention to detail was excellent. There was a lot of seaweed but we were still able to swim and snorkel and even rented a beach cabana for the day. The food was very good with beautiful presentation, and there was plenty of bottled water available all over the resort. We will definitely return.

Overall great experience, the only issue that I had was the TV. It took multiple visits from staff to get the TV working. Outside of that issue we had a great time, definitely more so a party resort but also has lovely areas where you can also relax. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Definitely would visit again. From the airport it’s about a 45-50 minute ride.

My stay at breathless was amazing! It was the perfect mix of fun and relaxation. There were a ton of things to keep you occupied on the resort. They also offered an array of excursions which were fun and easy to book. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the resort was very clean. I had a great time and would most definitely recommend and go back!

We stayed at Breathless Punta Cana for a wedding and while the wedding events themselves were well-executed, the overall resort experience was extremely disappointing. The food was nearly inedible. My husband and I only felt safe eating the burgers from the pool grill. Room service was awful, and guests weren’t allowed to take food back to their rooms from the buffet, incredibly frustrating when you want a quick or late-night bite. Several members of our group became ill during the week, and we also heard similar complaints from other guests. Whether it was food poisoning or something viral, it significantly impacted the trip. Our room was filthy. The patio jacuzzi was so dirty we didn’t dare use it. After just an hour of walking around in socks, the bottoms were black from the floor. There was even a half-drunk soda left in our mini fridge when we arrived — a clear sign that housekeeping had not done a thorough job. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this resort based on our experience. While the setting is beautiful, the poor cleanliness, inedible food, and overall lack of basic service standards overshadowed everything else.
