I will start off by saying… who is rating this place anything but 1-2 stars? I’m honestly in shock. I’m not one to complain, but our stay here was just awful, very long 11 days. We tried to relocate to a different hotel, but given it was peak season, everything was fully booked.
The food: barely edible. We pretty much lived off of plain pasta. No salt /paper shakers on any table at any restaurant. If you are lucky to be offered coffee it comes in a paper cup. No spoons for yogurt. No ketchup for hamburgers. This is a special request and you cannot touch the ketchup, they have to spoon it themselves on your hamburger and fries.
The service/Friendliness: non existent, except maybe 2 people.
The shopping: none (very lame gift shop).
Cleanliness: yes, I guess.
The resort itself: barely anything to do here. There is a water park, sure, but that got very boring after the first day. There is zero nightlife, no water sports.
We also had to go to the front desk multiple times to fix our room key, it kept getting disconnected. We stopped counting how many times this happened after 10 times.
There were 12 of us here, kids ages range from 3-15, and we all felt the same way.
We have travelled a lot in the past, been to Club Med, Dream Onyx, etc. this was by far the worst resort we’ve been to.
A few positives: Orlando from the beach was incredible. He was the only bartender on the beach and served well over 50 people a day. He deserves a raise. Balcony was nice, but rooms are very outdated.
As you can tell, we do NOT recommend this resort.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at the Nickelodeon Punta Cana Resort. We visited with our kids, spending over $7,000, and expected far better basic amenities and overall experience. Unfortunately, the resort fell short in several areas:
• Food Quality: The food was mediocre at best. The buffet service was disorganized and frustrating, making it difficult to get what we needed.
• Language Barrier: If you don’t speak Spanish, it’s a challenge to communicate with the staff effectively, even for basic needs. This was particularly disappointing, as we expected better support for international guests.
• Kids Club: The kids club was a letdown. Our children couldn’t fully enjoy it because the staff seemed unprepared to engage with non-Spanish-speaking kids.
• Activities and Costs: The slime show was unnecessarily loud and overpriced, and the character breakfast had exorbitant prices, offering little value for the cost.
• Lack of Order: The hallways were chaotic at night, with kids and families running around, and there seemed to be no system in place to maintain peace or enforce quiet hours.
For the price we paid, we anticipated a much higher standard of service and family-friendly experiences. This resort needs significant improvements in its organization, staff training, and overall guest experience to justify the premium cost.

We recently stayed at Nickelodeon Punta Cana, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The resort is absolutely beautiful, with stunning beaches, fun activities for kids and adults, and top-notch dining options.
One thing that really stood out to us was how inclusive and welcoming the resort is to people of all religions and cultures. It’s clear they make a genuine effort to ensure everyone feels comfortable and respected, which made our stay even more special.
Our kids couldn’t get enough of the water park and the character meet-and-greets, and we loved having time to relax while knowing they were having a blast. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the attention to detail was impressive—everything from the little surprises for the kids to how accommodating they were with dietary preferences.
This was truly one of the best family vacations we’ve ever had, and we’re already thinking about coming back. If you’re looking for a fun, relaxing, and inclusive place to vacation, Nickelodeon Punta Cana is perfect!

This was my 2nd vacation here 1/2-1/8 with a large group 1600 of us. The Resort is beautiful and the landscaping is incredible. It was our annual Beach & Beyond trip. Because of last years experience we came back again. The staff are very nice and accommodating. Food presentation was wonderful and amazingly put together. I will say the fresh fruit and cake bar will have you back and fourth. The room accommodations looked really nice however those mini fridges needs to be upgraded to new ones. My bed was really hard (king) and be careful because the water in the fridge I believe are filled and closed. If you don’t hear that fresh crack DO NOT DRINK THE WATER BOTTLES!!! I also drank the water at the buffet poured by the waitress. Wasn’t a good idea 24hrs after returning to the States I had to be rushed to the ER. Some type of virus still recuperating. The Spa is amazing feel tissue if you can’t take the pain just get relaxation my body still hurts. Overall I would recommend the Resort and I plan to go back in Dec. DO NOT DRINK THE FRIDGE WATER OR POURED WATER… have fun!

The combination of the location and the weather created an ideal setting for our stay. The staff were wonderful, demonstrating a caring attitude and working diligently to accommodate all our requests. However, it seemed that they could benefit from additional support. Regarding the dining options, we found that the buffet was the best choice overall. Not all of the restaurants met our expectations and some could use a bit more attention and care. Overall, if you can find a good deal, this place is worth visiting, especially for families with children, as they are likely to have a great time. Jery was particularly helpful in ensuring we had the best experience possible during our stay. He went above and beyond by providing exemplary service, assisting us with our room setup, and making reservations at the restaurants. While there were a few aspects of the room that required better maintenance, the hospitality we received more than made up for these issues. We were also very appreciative of Ms. Ana P. she and the rest of the staff work hard and serve us with care. Our daughter had a wonderful time, and we plan to return in the future.
