Stayed there for 2 nights and I couldn't ask for a better experience. Clean rooms, quiet, peaceful and beautiful environment and very good service. It's not the largest property with lots of choices in terms of food and activities but what it lacks in that regard it more than make it up in terms of the service from the staff. Most hotels are bigger and more lively but the service isn't good but Paradise Cove is a small, intimate, peaceful and beautiful place to come if you want the all inclusive experience without the hustle and bustle of the larger hotels and great service. If you want many choices and lots of activities and many choices, go to a bigger hotel but if you want 5 star service, a peaceful and simple getaway to rest and relax, go to Paradise Cove...bigger isn't always better and paradise cove proves that. It's a relatively small property, that provides an intimate and peaceful getaway with 5 star service and a beautiful environment.

What an amazing time we had! The staff, service and the FOOD were the best we have experienced. This was our 3rd time to Jamaica and we love it! We stayed at Sandals and at Jewel the food was 5++. Our bartender that we were with Raymond A+++++++++++ all the way around. All the staff was amazing and helpful and our room was cleaned every single day! The views were stunning! This is our new go to resort. We are already planning on next vacation for Oct 2025 with friends we met at the resort. If you are thinking whether or not to book it.....BOOK IT!!! You will not be disappointed at all!

I didn't stay overnight so I can't comment on the rooms. But the views of the sea were lovely. The property also has many places where you can take great photos. All the staff were well trained and very attentive. The grounds and beach were clean. The buffett was very complete, including making tour own custom ice cream

Jewel was an extraordinary experience. Their service was top notch. The restaurants had delicious food every day. The grounds were beautifully landscaped with mature trees. The beach was gorgeous. The rooms were modern and immaculate. It's an adult only resort and it showed. The pools were not deep which made getting to the pool bars super easy. I mean, who wants to swim with 2 Bob Marleys? The pools had sections with seats for a couple to share a drink. We're already planning for next year. You need to stay here, you will not regret it .

I forgot to write this when we went in 2022. Comparing a recent trip to Secrets to Zilara Rose hall was helpful. Service is fantastic at this resort. You feel like a welcomed guest. Rooms and the resort are clean and updated. Food / drink quality & selection was above average. Pools were great. Beach is VERY small. It is just ok. Good selection and location of restaurants / pubs / snack places.

The only thing good about this place was the location and views other then that we had a horrible experience. I had to wash my hair with water bottles because there was no water pressure one day, and they told us we could switch rooms but the water would be cold. The service at the restaurant took forever to get drinks, it was honestly faster grabbing the drinks ourself and coming back. And the fact that bar service hours are limited was not the best. Did not feel like the all inclusive resort or Hyatt brand that I’m used too.

We had a 10 night stay at the beginning of this month. It was a 15 - 20 minute transfer from the airport. When we were greeted at the hotel, we weren't offered a drink or wet face towel, whilst everyone every us got one. Checking in was quick, and we were taken to our room. Which was at the back end of the hotel. It felt like it was in a dark, dingy area. Block 1. We went into our room, and it was not what we expected. We had booked a King Swim out room. It was a swim out, but nowhere near the pool bar, and it was a swim out into a semi private pool. That wasn't what we wanted, we didn't want to be separated from the hotel facilities. In fact, the front of our block was the Zilara, and the rooms at the back of our block were the Ziva. We asked to move rooms because we hadn't received what we had expected, Osheaden on reception dealt with our enquiry. He was so rude and unpleasant and unhelpful. After alot, and I mean alot, of Osheaden saying he couldn't help, and making it into a massive thing, we upgraded to a king suite swim out, much better location and the room was slightly better, at a cost of $75 per night (he started out at $100 per night). The room had a mini bar with 4 very small cans of beer, then coke, Sprite, and water. We asked for a bottle of wine to be put into the mini bar, and we were told no. We said ok, we will order a glass on room service, and you can't order alcohol to your room on room service. I felt this was very poor. Our room still didn't connect with the pool bar area, but it had a lovely swim out into a huge pool. The food was great, lovely quality, we liked the restaurants, which you do have to book in advance. It was a pain to book. They opened a desk up at midday every day to book your dinner reservation, which meant you could queue a long time here. Towards the weekend, the hotel got absolutely packed, with very loud, boisterous Americans, who were very clearly there to party and raise the noise to an unpleasant level. It was 3 people deep at the pool bar, so we chose not to go into the Zilara pool again. We walked over to the Ziva family pool. This was so much nicer and lovely and calm. We spent Thursday to Monday here. On Monday, the Zilara pool was back to being peaceful, so we again went back to this pool for a day before we left. Some staff here are unfriendly, for example, Kavion on the pool bar, never ever smiled or welcomed us. It's beyond me why staff are like this, we are on holiday and don't want to see unfriendly faces, we want a welcoming smile. However, Davion, the concierge, was outstanding. He was friendly and always happy to help. He made us smile. There are buggys that take you around the hotel, which was great, because most of the restaurants are over at the Ziva, which isn't a long walk at all, but the buggys are just helpful. The 2 sandy beaches are lovely and protected by big boulders. Alcohol choice, they should have international brands. Every time we asked for a brand, they had run out. The prosecco is very low quality, very sweet, and only 6%ABH. We ended up just drinking water. It was our 25th wedding anniversary , and despite the hotel being told, several times, they did nothing, which was very disappointing. However, while we were having dinner in one of their restaurants one evening, a manager was going round, asking guests how their holiday was going. So I mentioned our anniversary and that I was upset the hotel did nothing to help us celebrate. This manager was called Jason, he was so lovely. He produced a bottle of Moet & Chandon and had that delivered to our room. He did what he could to make our day special. Thank you so much Jason. From them, we bumped onto Jason a few times throughout the rest of our holiday, and he was always happy to help us. He rang for buggys to collect us and made sure everything was perfect. He really is an asset to the team, and really cares for guests. Overall, I think the Hyatt Zilara Rose was an OK hotel. I expected more from a Hyatt. They need to be more in tune with holiday makers.

Our laptop was stolen by the bellman who brought our luggage from our room to the shuttle to airport. We have photo evidence and tracked the laptop to a location on the resort. Unfortunately, we did not realize until already at the airport that the laptop was gone. The front desk was incredibly dismissive and put us on hold for 15 min, 3 different times. I could hear someone pick up and hang up the call. When I called back, she stated “didn’t we tell you we’d call you back if we found the laptop?” I asked if she could speak to the bellman directly, as I could see the laptop was in the main building (not our hotel room building), so clearly he or someone took it, and we would forget about the incident if the laptop was returned to us. She abruptly put me on hold again, and eventually hung up After almost two hours of waiting for a return call, we were for td to board our plane. I have employee names and now plan on reporting them. It’s been four hours and they still haven’t called back, and appear to be screening my calls, as no one is picking up the phone, tried calling from a different phone number and they answered. Hung up again. Do not ever stay here. Hot water didn’t work for 3/5 days, at one point the water completely shut off when my body was covered in soap.

This was the first time here, second for the girlfriend. This is an absolutely awesome place. The staff was by far the best. Within a day or two, they knew you by name and where you were from. This is different from large chain resorts. The beach was only a short walk away, and even there, they had a nice full bar and a place for you to get food, so you didn't need to walk back to the resort itself. I would recommend the spa services. We had the outside couples massage. It's absolutely amazing. It was a good week here, and I will be looking forward to the same time again next year.

This is now one of my most favourite places on earth! We just spent 10 days there with family and looking forward to coming back already. The service was beyond anything we ever expected, every single person who we've met has been amazing and lovely. Everyone went above and beyond to help and accommodate, so thank you so much! The rooms were absolutely beautiful, decorated on arrival and very luxurious feeling, with a day bed on the balcony to watch the humming birds who like to come and say hello. The grounds/gardens are astonishing and cared for beautifully by the team of gardeners, you can even do a garden tour where you will learn about the huge variety of the different plants and their purpose! The food was absolutely fantastic! The buffet has a different theme every day, the beach bar has a jamaican special every day, the chefs show case and the a la carte restaurant were serving the most incredible dishes... the choices and possibilities are endless and you can see how much time and effort is put in the menu! The location is great, 2 min walk from the beautiful beach with all the activities you would want there, with all the free nom motorised activities (we did the pedalo, kayaking and paddle boarding). You can also pay to do other things like glass bottom boat trips or para sailing if you want. We booked the trip to Rick's cafe on the catamaran with reception, which was awesome too. The place felt super safe, there is even someone to stop traffic to cross the road! Thank you all so much, we have all loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

Definitely the best all inclusive we've been to. The staff remember you, they provide that extra service that makes a trip enjoyable, everyone has a great attitude. The resort is quiet, and is beautiful, it feels like you are in a jungle. Tables are set up beyond for a buffet. The food is just amazing, the buffet doesn't have a ton of selection because it's a smaller place, but what is there is delicious. They could do better to label for allergies. The beach is across the street, private, not a far walk at all, and is beautiful. The water is clear and calm. There and plenty of spots with open and covered options. Night time entertainment is kind of lacking, though doesn't feel needed to be honest.

My husband and I were there for 5 nights. To us, our opinion of the room was just ok. Nothing special. But...you go on vacation to be out and taken care of. That part was excellent! Everyone was friendly and made you feel welcomed. Our best part of the vacation was our massages and pedicures. Top notch! The ladies were very welcoming, funny, and loving. We got 2 massages within 5 days. That says a lot! If you go there, make sure to see Brenda and Potrina!

Had a great trip! First time to South Coast. It always takes a bit to get used to how each property does things a bit differently, but we quickly figured things out. For the most part, the service was very good, and when it wasn't they made every effort to make it right. I have high standards of excellence when staying at Sandals properties because I know that it is what the company demands, but also because these trips are expensive and there are other options. From what I have seen thus far in my travels, the addition expense is worth the cost with Sandals. Special shout out to Stringbean and the rest of the dive shop crew. This was definitely one of the most laid back and enjoyable dive trips that I have been on. Those guys and girls are fabulous! Scenery around the entire property was beautiful and the water was great!

We are typically thrilled with Couples but this particular stay was a huge letdown. The location is beautiful and most of the staff is phenomenal. We weren’t made aware that one of the restaurants would be closed for the entirety of our stay until we checked in. The other available restaurants both required reservations, and one required a dress code. Despite being at less than 50% capacity reservations were extremely limited. The smoothie bar was consistently out of menu items. Casanova was consistently out of menu items and we were often not made aware until well after we had ordered. Room service was the only thing available most of the time so we got pretty sick of the same food each day. We asked on 3 separate occasions to speak to someone about this. On our last evening, after we explained to the front desk we would just discuss our concerns at check out, we finally received a call back from a manager. The only issue was we specifically requested no call back that night as we had an early flight and were already asleep. About a half hour after the call, housekeeping knocked on our door to advise us they had received a call about bugs in the rooms. While there were bugs in the room (tons of ants in the bathroom), we didn’t complain about this as we understood we were in a beach location. It was just bizarre that housekeeping didn’t confirm the correct room that called prior to coming. If we do decide to visit Couples again, it definitely will not be this location. Maybe if someone had reached out the first day we voiced concerns we would have a different opinion. It was really disappointing.

But what makes this resort is the incredible staff! They did so much for us and made us feel so welcome. When I got home I realised I left my Apple Pods at the resort. The room was very spacious, especially the bathroom. I loved the bathroom😍 However, I have it 4 stars as the bathroom fixtures specifically the shower 🚿 needs to updated. The location is easy to find however the beaches are not the true perception of Jamaican beaches. The service could be better for some not all staff members.

Couples Sans Souci in Jamaica is a paradise on earth for honeymooners! This five-star resort is a hidden gem nestled between the lushious greenery of the jungle-like mountains and the deep blue and turquoise ocean giving you the best of both worlds! The old world charm combined with modern amenities creates a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere throughout the resort that is unmatched. The mineral grotto and spring pool were amazing, and I made sure to spend plenty of time soaking in their rejuvenating and healing waters. The Balloon Bar was a classy touch up near the lobby and the perfect spot for evening entertainment, if you manage to stay awake that long! The resort offers a variety of exciting activities including scuba diving, snorkeling, golf, tennis, glass bottom boat tours, kayaking and wind surging making sure there's never a dull moment during your stay.

We Celebrated our 25th anniversary Sept 21-28 2024 From the time we arrived, everything was perfect . We were greeted with a cool towel, and champagne upon arrival. Our room was perfect 2106 garden view I wouldn’t personally spend extra money on an ocean front, the resort is small , there probably isn’t a bad room in the resort . We loved the fire show , the beach is gorgeous, and the food was delicious!!!! We will definitely return !! Thank you Couples Negril !!!!

The main restaurant was closed on certain days which only left limited options. Me and my partner did not like the Asia restaurant and I don't like seafood food so there was some nights we went hungry and was counting down the clock for when the grill re opened at 10:30pm The breakfast was the same near enough every day got very fed up There is not very culture food and even when we was given one day of it the meat on the mutton was so fatty The staff was very miserable at one point I got fed of waiting for the staff to take my drink order by the pool I just went to the bar myself

I really wanted to like this resort. I went there for my birthday- they sent a bottle of cheap wine with a bow and label that read ‘happy birthday’. The food was not impressive at any of the restaurants. It was such a boring experience with little to nothing to do. The rooms were dated and the bathrooms were not luxurious. Most of the staff were not friendly or accommodating we felt like we were more of a bother to them. Do not recommend! Of note I was visibly pregnant @5.5 months but was given a bottle alcohol for a birthday gift.

Best resort I've ever stayed at. The location is right on the beach. The staff is so nice and accommodating. I didn't want to leave. Make sure you ask for Mr Love if you need a lift on the golf cart. The food was delicious and the drinks were never ending. Something to do each day at the pool. 10/10 recommend you book this place.

We spent 3 nights/ 4 days at this resort. From the moment you get in property you are treated very well. Welcomed with champagne and a cold towel. We arrived before check in time so our room was not ready, but we still had access to all amenities. We changed right away and headed to the pool. The room we had at first had a slight issue that was out of the resorts control, but they were quick to move us to an even better room! Very pleased that they were quick to help. I wouldn’t recommend any drink with tequila as it did not taste like tequila at all, but if you stick to rum based drinks you will be okay. Overall had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a nice relaxing getaway.

Lots of parking behind the conference business center to the left of the property. Breakfast space gets packed quickly during the summer and christmas seasons. Several restaurants to choice from with a central kitchen and multiple chefs. Dining lines for restaurants get long in the night since no buffet option is available. Gym is kept clean and convenience store items are pricey. Taxi and bus service is available. Good spot for adults

If you are in a mood for party then this is the place for you. This is a small resort so definitely feels like home. In couple of days staff starts recognizing you and you get the feeling of home. Internet connection was really good. Room service is on point. I am a vegetarian and I always had food on my plate. Sister properties secret wild orchid and secret James are good too and a lot of activities take place there.

I loved every minute of my trip here. It was my first time in Jamaica and definitely my favorite trip I’ve ever been on. I love how the resort gave you access to literally TWO OTHER RESORTS as well and their all amenities for NO EXTRA COST which was awesome and it allowed you to get many different experiences and try different foods and drinks. The resort is so inclusive too which is awesome because you may see one person doing one job in the morning and then later that night they are a superstar fashion model or painter and the resort allows it’s employees to be free to dream and pursue their passion which I’ve never seen before! It was very nice in the beginning. Really elegant. Could have had more activities etc. Our room was amazing with a pool outside our deck door, a hot tub on our deck. Plus, we had Butler. The only thing, I was maybe 30-45 minutes out the shower when the ceiling fell in it. So, glad I was not injured. Our wait to be moved was about six hrs. I hated the fact that they took so long, that we couldn't get the same accommodations on the ground floor... because we had to be moved to the 5th floor. They had Shrimp Tacos that were to die for everyone that eat spicy wings said, they were good. Other than that their food was not so good. We ordered room service...Steak and Mashed Potatoes (the steak looked boiled) no flavor the Cobb Salad was lacking what makes it a Cobb Salad, wilted onions etc, not fresh at all. We walked over to the World Cafe at the Resort next to us for breakfast and it was a Buffet with many choices. They're food was amazing!!!

Surprisingly, my husband and I did not get the experience we paid for with this resort. We purchased the butler option and we only saw him twice the entire stay. Once at check in and once at checkout. He said he had an emergency and he apologized that the resort did not make us aware or reassign someone to make sure we were taken care of. We went to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary, but we did not get any recognition of that. Other rooms had banners on the doors, etc. Yes, we made them aware, and no there was no special treatment or warm welcome for us. We also encountered rudeness when dining, ordering drinks, exchanging large bills( I was shorted and the girl said she assumed I would a tip) and added pressure to tip from other of the employees also. It was so uncomfortable I stopped tipping all together on my last day. After tipping over $200, in addition to all the funds we invested in the stay...I expected a more pleasant experience. I spent the last two days of my stay on the secrets side. Better food, fun, and service!

Don't get a Swim up room if you stay here. It smelled like mildew, and the touch-up work was horrendous. We had the same problem after the room change. We woke up to a puddle of water behind our nightstand leaking from the shower. We were told the Oceanview rooms or the rooms upstairs were better by other guests. Make sure you wear mosquito repellent, especially while you sleep and take something disposable to sleep on. The views at Attitude were breathtaking, not so much the food. Other than that, the food was average for a resort. Fishnets was the best option for food. To get hot water in the shower, push the button under the shower handle. Don't even bother bringing cleaning supplies for the shower. Whatever is going on with the glass, it's inside the glass. On another note, Secrets appeared to be a better option as far as having rooms right on the beach. We loved the karokee at the Piano Bar. Be careful ordering alcohol on the beach. I felt weird after drinking it. Buy your souvenirs at the airport. Prices at the resort gift shop was overpriced. If you want more of a party experience, book between Thursday-Saturday. We hope your experience at Breathless is better than ours.

What can you say but this is a fantastic all inclusive resort. This was our 3rd trip to this resort and will continue to go back. We enjoyed every minute of walking the beautiful beach with crystal clear water and white sands. Negril is astonishing. The dinners and alcohol were on point and you absolutely do not want to go home. Thank you couple's and we will see you again.

Beautiful resort, all inclusive. Rooms are beautiful, staff are very friendly, and food is beyond spectacular. There are multiple activities each day, I suggest you sign up for some and try something new. They have scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, wind surfing, paddle boards, boat rides, nature walks and much more. Highly recommended.

Just went for the first time last week. The weather was amazing! The beach was incredible. The fact CSA provided rafts is an excellent feature! Our room was clean and seemed updated but this is our first trip so I have no comparison. The only drawback in our opinion was the bed was like a pit. Once you got in it was hard to get out so I think it was fairly worn. I would also indicate the shower did not get hot. We had a great view and we're on second floor so no cats on our patio. Each building features an ice bin which is refilled daily and a bottle filler which was amazing. Staff was incredibly nice. There are so many serving you at various restaurants they should give out cards to help us remember. The food wasn't great. Scotch bonnet served lunch and thr Patties were awesome. But jerk chicken was super dry. The tropical salad bar was not what I would call a salad bar. Probably the biggest challenge is no 24 hour room service. If the weather ianr great or if you just want a night in you don't have an option but to go out. One of our party didn't feel well and we had a heck of a time trying to get food for her. Also some of us are not quite as adventurous with food so we lacked some options. The water sports and excursions which are included are unmatched at all inclusives I have been to before. Highly recommend the catamaranand to take advantage of these events. Cats are very prevalent...a lot of cats. My husband is allergic so we were dodging cats in restaurants and walking around. The restaurants need some air conditioning or more powerful fans! Overall a solid 4.5. The beach was just amazing.

Me and my wife recently stayed here for our honeymoon. I did a lot of research before we came and I found some people had complaints so I was worried slightly. Upon arrival all those worries were gone. The resort is very nice and very well kept. The grounds are beautiful and the beach is very clean. The customer service is phenomenal and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. I had several questions as it was our first time out of the country and the staff answered all questions I had. The food is amazing at all the restaurants and the drinks are very well made. We had clean sheets and towels every morning and breakfast delivered to our room as well. There is plenty to do on the resort alone. I do suggest to be weary of the weather we went during rainy season but it did not stop use from having fun and doing everything we wanted! I would also recommend bringing cash as well, there is locals that walk the beach to sell things and it is how they make a living. BE SURE TO TIP JOSHUA IF YOU SEE HIM ON THE BEACH!!! He is very nice and sings beautifully if he sees you on the beach! I also had no issues with sleep. This is the best sleep I’ve had in awhile as I have insomnia and I had no issues on my stay. Some say the resort is dated but I think it is beautiful and gives the resort a true Caribbean feel to it. I have had no issues and I look to come back! There is a wall of fame in the lobby and one couple has been to this resort 60 times so you know the resort does an exceptional job! Also I would be mindful of the bad reviews on here, completely opposite time from everyone I talked to while at the resort. The front desk gives you all the information you need you just have to read it!

The rooms are nice!!! Nice balconies with ceiling fans. Beautiful views and things to do. A lot of activities are complimentary to your stay, so remember to sign up. You can stay on the resort or venture off and explore.

I spent 4 days at Secret St. James, which also gave me access to other Secrets properties like Breathless. I loved the hotel's design, the cleanliness of the pools, and the service from each bartender, especially Junior, who always made an effort to bring a smile and craft a good drink for the hotel guests. However, the food was not the best. The buffet needs to ensure the correct temperature for cold cuts and cheeses, as well as for fruits. The food at the buffet did not have the best flavor nor was it kept in the best condition to remain fresh and healthy. Despite the hotel being beautiful, there was no air conditioning in the restaurants. The room maintained a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, which was not low enough to cool the room properly. None of the bars had air conditioning, and the gym is very small and lacks air conditioning as well. The beach is lovely and private, with no bothersome vendors, which is wonderful. The night events are great with an amazing singers and games. A downside of each restaurant is that they require you to order all your food as soon as you sit down, and the waitstaff are often cold and impatient. This might be because they are tired from the heat inside the restaurants and bars. In conclusion, it is one of the best hotels I have enjoyed in Jamaica, but I would rate it 3 starts out of 5 due to the lack of air conditioning or proper ventilation in the interiors of the various areas.

This resort needs some TLC. Many things are in disrepair. Service is not up to standard compared to other resorts in Jamaica. Food / drink selection and quality is just ok. The beach is pretty great, and the rooms are fairly good. It has potential, but there are better options in Montego Bay.

We had a great vacation in S. S. James. Room was spacious and clean, the beach fantastic. There's a variety of restaurants and bars, nice music and, above all, excellent service! Would definitely recommend 😊!

DISCOUNTS Since Hyatt took over, this property no longer offers any travel agent rates. Even the GM confirmed it’s all managed through the Hyatt TA site, which shows no rates available. ROOMS The rooms are outdated. I booked a Preferred Club Ocean King, but the minibar wasn’t fully stocked, snacks were missing, and the fridge wasn’t working. I found hair on the floor, and both Jacuzzi tubs had stains, making them unusable. FOOD One of my main reasons for visiting Jamaica was for great jerk chicken, but the only Jamaican restaurant didn’t even have it on the menu. The oxtails were mostly fat, and appetizers like the spring roll were disappointingly small. Room service was inconsistent, though the rum toast and coffee stood out as breakfast highlights. The jerk chicken at the lunchtime hut was the best food on the property. Pizza and chicken curry patties were just okay. COUPLE VIBES ONLY Though listed as adults-only, the resort heavily caters to couples. Solo travelers, like myself, may feel out of place, especially since staff prioritizes couples for reservations and service. I noticed couples receiving perks like free bottles, while I was largely overlooked. The daily activities, like “couples trivia,” reinforced the focus on couples. If you’re traveling solo, be prepared to feel excluded. PREFERRED CLUB The Preferred Club upgrade isn’t worth it. There’s no enforcement on who can access the amenities. I noticed guests who hadn’t paid for the upgrade using the Preferred Club pool and food services without any staff intervention. The $200 in coupons can only be used in small increments and aren’t redeemable all at once. The advertised “special experiences” are also exclusively for couples, which was disappointing. FINAL THOUGHTS I chose this hotel because of its advertised 4-5 star rating. I’m fine paying for luxury, but this wasn’t it. Compared to other high-end properties like the Ritz-Carlton in Singapore, this fell short. Secrets St. James is not worth $500 a night – $300 would be more appropriate.

Beautiful resort. 4 stars for the room because while it was comfortable and adequately roomy, they could use a bit of refurbishing. That being said, if you plan to spend a lot of time in the room, maybe Jamaica isn't the best choice for a trip. There was so much to do on the resort and the views were amazing. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful vacation, really special in this LS friendly resort. Everybody is making it the best time of your life. Extremely friendly people. Simple (due to tropical environment) but nice, clean rooms with really good bed and lots of storage. Very clean beach, with lots of chairs and shade too! Good food, a lot of choice, great drinks, anything you can think of. Fully filled shop, with anything you could have forgotten, or just want to buy. Excursions are easy to book, some are free, some are outside the resort, that is also a bit expensive but alright. Great entertainment team, during the day, but also at evenings. A bit expensive resort, but it is special... it's coming home! Yeah Mon!!!

The party’s was dry the music selection was bad party’s lasted about a hour never started on time the rooms need to be updated the resort needs an upgrade not a bunch of entertainment on the resort the theme nights are ok but the resort overall was a 2 out of 10 if u want some fun and entertainment leaving off the resort is your best bet the nude side must have all the entertainment because the clothing optional side is very boring food was horrible breakfast lunch and dinner

Amazing place Amazing people some parts of the resort like many in Jamaica needs some mild updating but it's one of the cleanest friendliest places ever. The harrysan restaurant is phenomenal. Stay in the natural garden view rooms for shortest walk to everything important as well. Take a private driver or private air shuttle with a group.Thank me later. Also ps if you are on the fence about coming, just do it!

I traveled with Missy King and the experience was superb! She had events and activities planned. It was nearly perfect. The staff on the resort are simply amazing. Everyone was super professional, nice and super welcoming. I can't wait to go back "home" Thank you Missy King!!

After 6 trips here, we will not return. The smoking policy is not enforced even when discussed with management. It has turned into a party resort where inconsiderate guests do what ever they want. Food quality has dropped significantly and so has the service. The only good thing on this trip was the extraordinary service by our butlers. Current management does not care and give lame excuses. We waited 2 1/2 hours for food with a pre planned anniversary meal. The excuse was half the staff was attending a special event. I'm all for doing things for the staff but maybe not do it the same night as a returning guest dinner. Too many other complaints to list.

Last year for our anniversary we were at royal Bahamian with butler service, and had an amazing experience. So this year for our anniversary we picked Montego Bay with butler service as well. One of the two butlers lack communication and on our anniversary did absolutely nothing to make our “day” special. I don’t know if we just had high expectations from our first Sandals trip, but no happy anniversary or anything. We asked to move our anniversary/dinner reservation the day we got there since she had us at 9pm for whatever reason. Then 3 days later after I mentioned it couple times our reservation was not moved. That is just one of many things that did not happen. We usually don’t complain, and make the best out of our situation. The beach was very nice and the resort is very clean and everyone is really nice. But, we will not be going back to that location or possibly never having butler service again since it is expensive.

My wife and I just returned from an 8 day stay. We have been to 11 Sandals in the past 2 years and each property has its own unique thing about it. But we give Sandals Montego Bay props for being the oldest property in the portfolio. The things that impressed us the most was the beach area. Very impressive and plenty of space to relax and enjoy even in the evening. Employees very energetic and always smiling and very egar to help even if you didn't need it. Maintenance of the the area by far the best I have seen out of all 11 Sandals we have been to. Some small issues but nothing that really jumped out at you. We meet Chris the GM great manager all the way around was great meeting him and my compliments to him for having such a great staff and maintaining a beautiful property that is a flagship property and the oldest in the portfolio . So in all great experience Sandals Montego Bay. We recommend staying at Montego Bay and giving it a try yourself. For Us it makes our top 3 Sandals we have enjoyed.

Sandals Montego Bay has some definite highlights, but there are areas where it could improve. The food was amazing—definitely a standout—and the beach setup with a swim-up bar was perfect for relaxing. Our room had a lovely view, though the interior itself was only a slight step above a Holiday Inn Express, which felt a bit underwhelming given the resort’s premium branding. Room service was disappointing; it took 3 hours just to bring us bottles of water. Also, the chair reservation policy is not enforced, so many chairs sit reserved and unused, making it tough to find a spot. Overall, it’s a nice resort but needs work to meet expectations at this price point. We won’t be coming back.

We loved experiencing this Sandals resort as we celebrated the wife's birthday for the weekend! We enjoyed a butler suite with a balcony tub. Our butler team set up a few special requests for us and could not have asked for a better suite. We desired better weather: it rained over half the time we spent for the weekend, so we didn't risk scheduling some of the Dunn's River excursions. Finally, we enjoyed some great entertainment options, that honestly could bring us back to enjoy this resort again! Our single negative comment: this resort is located by the airport and we could hear every plane take off during the day.

This was our second visit and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are what makes Sandals Royal plantation so special. Omar the general manager amazingly knows every guests name. The Butlers can’t do enough for you and are only a phone call away. Every member of staff are so welcoming. The hotel is an oasis of relaxation and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Once again Sandals Royal Plantation have outdone themselves! Richard & Duwayne were exceptional. Omar the GM is amazing and hands on. I can’t say enough about the food and the accommodations that were made to the menu for some of our dietary needs. They were always so eager to please and there were no issues. This was our sixth visit to this location and it never gets old and is always top notch. The service at this resort is the best the Caribbean has to offer.

This Sandals resort is our absolute favorite! I hate to even share that with too many people because I'd rather keep it as my own little secret. The staff and excellent service are two of the biggest reasons why we keep returning. We've been vacationing here for close to 10 years, and many of the staff have been there for that entire time. We always feel as though we're coming back to visit family with each visit. The resort has such a unique charm and warmth to it. We love the smaller boutique size of the resort. We've visited other Sandals and, though we've always enjoyed them as well, they don't have the same charm and personable staff that SRP offers. From housekeeping to the waitstaff at the restaurants to the beach butlers --- everyone seems to know our names. Even the GM makes a point to know guests by name. Though the resort is a little further from the airport than some of the other resorts, we don't mind the drive through Jamaica. It's definitely our happy place.

We recently visited this resort from Sept 2-10. We enjoyed every minute of it. The resort is absolutely beautiful, the staff is AMAZING and the beach is great! We have booked our return trip! The resort is the perfect size, not too big and not too small. Everyone knows you by name and the service here is the best we’ve ever received at any Sandals. Omar, Lancelot and Marvin do a great job managing this resort! Can’t wait to go back!

We again had a fantastic trip to this beautiful and peaceful resort! We can not say enough about the attentive staff- fabulous food - and stunning location. The perfect place to relax and enjoy each moment. Our butlers, Neil and Carlos are just perfect!! (we even caught caught up with Anthony, from previous years!). We so love our breakfasts overlooking the water - love that we can still enjoy the local fish/ cuisine. Derrick the wood artist on the beach is a great draw for us! Our home features many of his creations- we look forward to seeing him every trip! Such a delightful gentleman. We did miss the Mento band that used to play- but understand why they are no longer there. Looking forward to returning!
