This hotel isn’t a good hotel at all. Cheap and absolutely disgusting.
First of all the staff was very rude and colourist at the hotel. My husband and I was uncomfortable but after a while we don’t care we just wanted to enjoy our stay (barely) They always had an attitude when you ask for help. Most staff barely understood English and fyi majority of the tourists are English speaking so maybe hire sensible people who could least help. Luckily my husband spoke Spanish thank god
There is also construction going on at the hotel and it stinks.
The food at the buffet is one of the biggest problems as many of the food isn’t done well and most times cold when going there to dine. The drinks are bland and watery and the buffet staff are somewhat nice. I end up getting food poison from the uncooked food at the resort. The ones that let you in the buffet aren’t nice at all as one do the staff was rude and rolling her eyes I’ll be inserting her picture. If you want to accommodate people properly and have good reviews maybe hire more friendly people?

Our stay at Impressive Resort & Spa (10/1–10/4/25) was very disappointing. My husband surprised me with a short trip to Punta Cana, but from check-in things went downhill. Gio, assigned to “assist” us, tried to get us to attend a timeshare pitch instead of helping with dinner reservations.
Our first room was plain, hot, and damp — tiles and sheets were wet, and the AC never worked despite multiple calls. After hours of waiting, we were moved to another building (no elevator) where the AC also didn’t work and towels were dirty. Guest services was unhelpful, blaming us for “calling the wrong number” even though we followed directions.
We were told to check out at noon and back in at 3:00, wasting another day. The third room still had no AC, smelled moldy, and only had hot water — then no water for three hours due to plumbing issues. The pool was dirty and cracked.
The only positive was the buffet food and the kindness of Altagracia, who made us great lattes. Otherwise, customer service was terrible, rooms uncomfortable, and management offered no real compensation.
Not impressive at all — we don’t recommend this resort.

Upon entering the rooms, we were shocked and disappointed. They looked nothing like the pictures. The rooms were in desperate need of maintenance; everything was old and broken. We struggled to open the wardrobe and cabinet drawers, with some even falling apart when we tried to open them. The fridge door was broken as well.
While the condition of the furniture was concerning, the real issue was the cleanliness of the rooms. The bed frame was dirty, and the mattress was disgustingly stained and covered only by a bed sheet that kept coming undone. Additionally, the resort does not use duvet covers; instead, they sandwich the duvet between two bed sheets. This arrangement caused the sheets to separate during the night, leaving us waking up to a filthy duvet.
We requested a change, but the staff said there was nothing they could do. Another problem was the air conditioning unit, which ran continuously and was positioned to blow directly in our faces, ultimately making us ill with the flu. We asked for assistance again, but the handyman they sent did nothing, despite our insistence.
Throughout our stay, the staff was rude and appeared frustrated. They often ignored us when we needed assistance, such as when we requested a table or water, and they were reluctant to speak English.
Be cautious with the tours offered at the reception or on the resort's premises. If you're a first-time visitor, you might be deceived. Additionally, watch out for Gabriel, who claims to pay commissions to the “manager” which is not trustworthy either. He pressures guests to purchase from them, saying that they might not return if they opt for local excursion options. Gabriel also misrepresented an excursion we agreed upon, providing something different.
We booked an excursion with locals and it was way better, with better attitude and prices.
Unfortunately this holiday didn’t feel like a holiday, and even though we loved Dominican Republic our impressions have changed & we are not returning back anymore.

We were a little bit scared when we started reading the reviews but this is like every place, some people has really bad experiences and they always gonna try to people stop going there.
The hotel is simple but really cute , the price is affordable for big groups, the food is good, the have a lot of options besides the buffet, the cocktails are good and good options too, the check in was the perfect time.
Yes, the rooms need some improvement and remodeling for sure but they were cleaned all the time!
The STAFF is the main reason for 5 star review , they make this hotel a 5 star; they are always happy to help, they are smiling, making jokes, making u feel in vacation.
So if you see a bad reviews is because people is super rude with staff.

After our stay, I can understand why reviews vary — it really comes down to your attitude. A big team is working hard behind the scenes, from tending the gardens to providing entertainment, all to make your stay enjoyable. Many of them put in long hours for modest pay, so a little generosity and kindness go a long way.
Yes, you might notice some worn paint in the bathroom, a stain on a towel, or a dish at the buffet that doesn’t quite match authentic Italian pasta. Some staff may not always greet you with a smile. But those details aren’t the heart of the experience. When you make eye contact, smile, and show appreciation, you’ll see how warmly the team responds.
Focus instead on the highlights: sip a drink under the palm trees, enjoy mornings by the pool that’s been cleaned since 5 a.m., savor fresh mango, papaya, and delicious coffee, and watch the sunset over the beach. Don’t get lost in the small imperfections — you decide what this vacation will be, not other reviewers and not a broken door lock. Choose joy, and you’ll have a wonderful experience.

We met Fernando 6 years ago on our wedding trip. We have come back to this resort twice since then just to be around him. He makes everyone feel special and makes your trip so enjoyable. The pool bar is the place to be when Fernando is working. Love this guy and resort!!

The ratings of the Grand Palladium Punta Cana are very deceptive. Overall, my experience was poor. Food poisoning, no running water, extended periods of no power, incorrect rooms.
We stayed at the resort for 7 days and upon arriving, our room was incorrect. We were told by the front desk staff that it would be ready in 10 minutes, but we ended up waiting over an hour for our room. The power was also out for several hours shortly after arriving. No internet, no electricity, no water. Toilets did not flush and water did not come out of the taps. Once our room was ready, our wristbands could not be programmed for several hours. We were locked out of our room unless a hotel worker unlocked it with the master key.
The rooms were ok. Beds were comfortable and cleaned daily. The bathrooms in the room are not very accessible for those with mobility issues. To enter the shower, you need to step up a ledge that is probably 2ft tall. Some rooms come with stepping stools to help with this, but my room did not. Some of the people I travelled with were also without hot water for most of the trip. The safes in the room do not work consistently. Batteries were low in one of the rooms, another person was locked out of their safe because the buttons were not working properly.
The food is ok for a resort; however, the beef nacho chilli sauce at La Uva gave multiple people in my group food poisoning, as well as other people we met while travelling. The a la cartes were decent. I would recommend the Italian restaurant. Steak restaurant was good but inconsistent.
Some of the staff at the resort go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome and deliver an excellent experience. In particular, Domingo from the breakfast/lunch Beehive buffet always provided excellent service and always checked in on us consistently. Breidy, Diego, and Antonio from the lobby bar were incredible and a highlight of the trip for us. Very personable and fun.
Other staff were not as enjoyable or seemed very disinterested/disengaged. I struggle to believe most of the 4 and 5 star reviews because staff will put QR codes for the review page in your face and pressure you to fill out the Google review. They will even take your phone and change your responses to all 5s and make you mention their names in the reviews. This happened at archery every time we went and at check out.
The beach is nice, the resort has a very long shoreline so there are lots of places to sit. There are several pools and they are all very nice. Both on the beach and inside the resort property, there were many vendors for excursions and souvenirs that would try and sell to you. I found it to be bothersome.
Sports fields and tennis courts were great. We played a lot of pickleball and all equipment was supplied.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Housekeeping each day.

We stayed for 17 days and had an amazing time! 🎉 The service was great and the animation team made every day so much fun — there was really something for everyone! 🙌 Eunice from the animation team was full of energy and always made us laugh 😂 Ana at the reception was fantastic — super helpful and always quick with solutions when we needed something. The whole place is clean, well taken care of, and you can see they really care about the guests. We had so much fun and would 100% recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and great location. The property is well kept and clean. The staff were very friendly and there was a variety of activities. We did, however feel like most of the interactive pool and beach games had a provocative feel to them which we feel should be for adults only. We also didn't appreciate that our volleyball games were abruptly brought to a halt because every member of the activity staff were told to be involved in the crazy game and often would put pressure on us to join the game even though we were having fun playing volleyball. Also, the evening shows often had a provocative vibe at the intro portion of the show. This time of year we discovered that there is a seaweed plant that washes in and completely take over the ocean front making it very dirty and not pleasant to look at or swim in. The excursion that we booked through the hotel ended up being not at all what we were promised and they did not do anything for us when we reported how disappointed we were. The amenities were great. We really enjoyed the gym with multiple machines to use and heavier dumbbells. We really enjoyed the sports complex to play tennis, and basketball. We really enjoyed the variety of food at the buffet and the different restaurants were a great experience. Overall, we would return.

Our first experience in the Dominican was extremely fun and memorable! Our hotel room was very well kept and comfortable! We enjoyed each day with a breakfast buffet and then with a few hours at the beach. After lunch we would enjoy a few hours at the pool with excellent entertainment. I participated in the Iron Man competition and my fiancee participated in the salsa. I also enjoyed water polo with an awesome group of folks as well. Francisco made sure I had an awesome time with these events!!!! Dinner was a great experience and we enjoyed some more live entertainment and music later in the evening. I would highly recommend others to join in on this wonderful experience!

Great location. The staff is wonderful. The restaurants lacked having authentic ethnic food (i.e. Mexican, Brazilian etc.). The food pretty much had a delicious Dominican flavor.
The room didn’t have facial towels or facial tissues. Minor but important. Recommend this resort.
CHIC Wasaga Spa
I came here for a seven-day all-inclusive trip with my family. The trip was excellent; the only issue was that the room felt very damp. We also paid for the upgrade to the platinum package, which includes access to the platinum section, serving Al Lacar-style cuisine. The food at the vip is much better compared to the standard buffet. My kids got to enjoy the facility, the kids' club, and the little pool for kids, which features slides. Overall, I'd give this place 4.5 stars. The room needs improvement, but it's minor compared to our overall experience as a family. I read numerous reviews before visiting, and many of the negative ones mentioned the staff being rude, which was a concern of mine before coming here. However, let me tell you that the staff were very friendly, attentive, and courteous. They always smile and treat you right. I did not have one instance where the staff was rude to me or my family. I want to thank the server, Emilio, Cepin and Agustin, as well as many others whose names I have unfortunately forgotten. Kelvis, the shuttle driver, helped me carry my luggages to my room. When I didn't like the room, he stayed with me for hours, along with Johancy, one of the managers, to find us a better room for our accommodation. I would recommend anyone with small children to give this place a chance.

Beautiful place. Everyone is very friendly and the service was excellent. A special message to Deyanira Batista, our housekeeper she was amazing. She made sure we were very well taken care of. She had our room spotless and stocked up, help with laundry and even left little flower by our pillows. Thank you everyone and thanks Deyanira for an amazing Punta Cana experience🥰

They’re lucky I can’t give them zero stars. Everything went downhill from the moment I arrived. I paid over $700 for the Platinum VIP package, which was advertised as offering 22 exclusive perks. I only received three of them.
I raised these issues with staff on my first and second day, but nothing was resolved. On the 3rd day, I went to the front desk around 9:30 AM to cancel the service and request a refund. They said a manager would contact me shortly.
Six hours passed, and no one ever reached out. When I finally went back and demanded to speak to a manager, I was told she had been in a five-hour meeting.
When I finally met Manager Loanmi, she told me the service was non-refundable — something that was never disclosed at the time of purchase. When I asked to see proof or policy documentation showing this, she admitted she couldn’t provide it.
The problems didn’t stop there...
Room service failed three separate times. First, the order took over an hour and arrived wrong. The next day, my order was never delivered. The third time, it was wrong again.
A male staff member entered my room uninvited, while my two young daughters were inside. That’s completely unacceptable and a serious breach of guest privacy and safety.
I was forced to keep the “Do Not Disturb” sign up at all times afterward.
This experience was nothing short of stressful, unprofessional, and deceptive. What was supposed to be a relaxing stay turned into a string of broken promises and excuses.
I will be filing a formal dispute with my bank and corporate offices regarding the fraudulent VIP charge, and I strongly urge anyone considering this property — don’t waste your money or your peace of mind.

This hotel has a beautiful white sand beach. Unfortunately, we came there during seaweed season and despite a huge effort from staff to clean it up, we could not enjoy the sea. We compensated it with enjoying the swimming pools. There’s a nice area with slides for kids. Our room was nice and big. However, our first impression was really bad. We arrived around 4pm. The sheets of 2 of the 4 beds were not changed & no pillowcases on any pillows. One pillow smelled SO stinky. The floor was absolutely disgusting. The staff cleaned and changed everything that needed to be done. We traveled with 8 years old twins & they were looking forward to it. But the kids club on this resort is a big joke. The only entertainment there was TV. However, entertainment for adults was great. Our kids could participate in some of it. It was hard to find someone who spoke basic English, which is understandable because the majority of their customers were locals.If you leave your towel on a pool chair and go for lunch, you will see couple people sitting on it when you come back. We booked restaurants for 4 dinners but gave up after second visit. The buffet service was so slow & the quality of food was inconsistent. Huge lines for pasta and meat. Constant problems with plates. In the dining area, you would be lucky to get fully served table. If not, it will be hard to get a cap or glass.There’s only couple good trained staff. And one of them and the best is Paulino. I will not come back on that resort.

This hotel isn’t a good hotel at all. Cheap and absolutely disgusting.
First of all the staff was very rude and colourist at the hotel. My husband and I was uncomfortable but after a while we don’t care we just wanted to enjoy our stay (barely) They always had an attitude when you ask for help. Most staff barely understood English and fyi majority of the tourists are English speaking so maybe hire sensible people who could least help. Luckily my husband spoke Spanish thank god
There is also construction going on at the hotel and it stinks.
The food at the buffet is one of the biggest problems as many of the food isn’t done well and most times cold when going there to dine. The drinks are bland and watery and the buffet staff are somewhat nice. I end up getting food poison from the uncooked food at the resort. The ones that let you in the buffet aren’t nice at all as one do the staff was rude and rolling her eyes I’ll be inserting her picture. If you want to accommodate people properly and have good reviews maybe hire more friendly people?

Our stay at Impressive Resort & Spa (10/1–10/4/25) was very disappointing. My husband surprised me with a short trip to Punta Cana, but from check-in things went downhill. Gio, assigned to “assist” us, tried to get us to attend a timeshare pitch instead of helping with dinner reservations.
Our first room was plain, hot, and damp — tiles and sheets were wet, and the AC never worked despite multiple calls. After hours of waiting, we were moved to another building (no elevator) where the AC also didn’t work and towels were dirty. Guest services was unhelpful, blaming us for “calling the wrong number” even though we followed directions.
We were told to check out at noon and back in at 3:00, wasting another day. The third room still had no AC, smelled moldy, and only had hot water — then no water for three hours due to plumbing issues. The pool was dirty and cracked.
The only positive was the buffet food and the kindness of Altagracia, who made us great lattes. Otherwise, customer service was terrible, rooms uncomfortable, and management offered no real compensation.
Not impressive at all — we don’t recommend this resort.

Upon entering the rooms, we were shocked and disappointed. They looked nothing like the pictures. The rooms were in desperate need of maintenance; everything was old and broken. We struggled to open the wardrobe and cabinet drawers, with some even falling apart when we tried to open them. The fridge door was broken as well.
While the condition of the furniture was concerning, the real issue was the cleanliness of the rooms. The bed frame was dirty, and the mattress was disgustingly stained and covered only by a bed sheet that kept coming undone. Additionally, the resort does not use duvet covers; instead, they sandwich the duvet between two bed sheets. This arrangement caused the sheets to separate during the night, leaving us waking up to a filthy duvet.
We requested a change, but the staff said there was nothing they could do. Another problem was the air conditioning unit, which ran continuously and was positioned to blow directly in our faces, ultimately making us ill with the flu. We asked for assistance again, but the handyman they sent did nothing, despite our insistence.
Throughout our stay, the staff was rude and appeared frustrated. They often ignored us when we needed assistance, such as when we requested a table or water, and they were reluctant to speak English.
Be cautious with the tours offered at the reception or on the resort's premises. If you're a first-time visitor, you might be deceived. Additionally, watch out for Gabriel, who claims to pay commissions to the “manager” which is not trustworthy either. He pressures guests to purchase from them, saying that they might not return if they opt for local excursion options. Gabriel also misrepresented an excursion we agreed upon, providing something different.
We booked an excursion with locals and it was way better, with better attitude and prices.
Unfortunately this holiday didn’t feel like a holiday, and even though we loved Dominican Republic our impressions have changed & we are not returning back anymore.

My main issue with this place is service and availability. They don’t let you take food back from any place and their room service took anywhere from 1-2 hours to deliver. Had to check food carefully as many items were undercooked. “All Inclusive” is daytime only. Unless they have an event at night by 10 most bars are closed, only 2 in the entire place are open. By 11 there is 1 bar open with one bartender for the entire resort. I would be ok with that if they gave us beer for our room, unfortunately they give you 2 pony beers in your fridge and they do not refill, you also can’t room service beer. Lastly the staff was not super friendly to Americans. They definitely preferred Spanish speakers.

Great resort for adult to relax. The reason I don't give this resort 5 stars is because of the food. With that being said, the servers made up for the quality and lack of variety. The animation team are awsome! Always keeping visitors involved. Each of them are great dancers as well. Having access to the sister resort, Tropical Deluxe Princess, is a plus. I had an amazing experience at punta Cana princess adults only. Me and my wife had an amazing experience! Jose at the reception was super kind and helpful. The chauffeurs and luggage folks were a huge help. The rooms are pretty decent only some cosmetic things but the pool was very nice and not too crowded. The restaurants were decent, our favorite spot was definitely the snack bar by the beach. I would say for the price you get here it’s the perfect investment to get to know punta Cana and be introduced to its all inclusives. I can definitely say the hospitality here is great. I loved this guy Freddy, super kind, our bartender Gregorio was nice and the parties in the lobby were great! The security around the beach at night made us feel safe and secure. The beach around this time had too much seaweed unfortunately, but you definitely get your money’s worth in food, drinks, swimming, and overall a great experience. The DJing could use some work, the food could have been a little better. That being said, I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a budget getaway and would return!

An awesome place to have a vacation. The staff are amazing and very respectful. The rooms are very well maintained and cleaned daily. It is a small resort which is nice because you wouldn't have to walk far to get somewhere. I would say a peaceful but also party vibe depending on where you are on the resort at a certain time. So best of both worlds. Definitely will be coming back.

You can't get any closer to the beach! Pool was large and well maintained. It never felt overly crowded. The bartenders in all areas were gracious attentive and experienced. We enjoyed all the restaurants. We played golf at 2 nearby courses. It was easy to get transportation to and from hotel. The rooms need some up grades. The rooms were cleaned daily. The housekeeper did a fantastic job. Overall we recommend Punta Cana Princess for those seeking an adult only affordable vacation.

We had an amazing time overall! From the moment we arrived, the staff was out of this world with their warm welcome and outstanding service throughout our entire stay. The resort itself is breathtaking!!!!!surrounded by nature, with beautiful scenery and animals all around that made the experience even more special.
We booked the Premium Experience, and honestly, it was one of the best decisions we made. Everything felt elevated, and as part of this experience, the resort offered us a beach dinner for all Platinum guests, which was absolutely gorgeous! truly unforgettable.
A huge part of what made our vacation so perfect was the incredible team members who went above and beyond for us. We are so grateful for Ezequiel, Ramon, Tony, Alondra, Vanessa, Roberto, and Genaro!!! each of them made us feel cared for, special, and at home. Their service, kindness, and dedication really stood out and made our stay extraordinary.
We cannot recommend this resort enough and are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you to the entire team for making this such a memorable getaway!

We just returned home from this resort. To start everyone was so friendly. From front desk to bartenders to groundskeepers and everyone in between we thought everyone was lovely. Especially the crew at PPG!
Our room was perfect, I liked the design very modern, air works great. We stayed in the platinum level so we had three bottles of liquor and a nespresso machine. Housekeeping was excellent and so was drink service for our mini bar. The coffee lounge was excellent. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch daily at ppg and the last few days we did the Chopin buffet. The hibachi place was not the best I’ve had in resorts but overall I thought the food was pretty good in the restaurants. The drinks were great and there were plenty of bars. The rooftop bar at ppg is beautiful. They had more beer there they had Heineken and corona. It’s definitely better for families than if you want to party. Also at platinum level you can go to the sauna and massage pool everyday which was really nice!

We had broken lamps, plumbing issues, and eventually our sink had to be removed, leaving us without water for hours. Maintenance should not happen during a guest’s stay—it shows the lack of care for basic hospitality.
Facilities: Everything seemed to be "under maintenance." The pub? Broken refrigerator no desserts were available as per their menu. And another day the pub was simply Closed. The main pool? Closed. The elevator? Missing buttons—an actual safety hazard. Staffing levels were clearly minimal, and they used this as an excuse for slow, substandard service. Arcades out of service. The trolly has broken down on the road twice.
Food: Mediocre at best. Breakfast was the same boring spread every single day. Hotdogs and patatos! Chefs lack diversity but the quality of the food isn't great. Staff even helped themselves to the buffet before guests. I personally witnessed an employee cutting ahead of me and taking all the shrimp and calamari from the seafood rice. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. When I asked they said oh 20mins wait until the next batch comes out...by then dinner was over for my group
Atmosphere: Smoking was allowed everywhere, including family sections. On top of that, locals were allowed into the resort, which in itself isn’t a problem, but their behavior (rowdy and inconsiderate) made things even worse.
This property is poorly managed, understaffed, and completely fails to deliver even the bare minimum of a resort experience. If you value your time, money, or sanity, do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.
The fact that we cut our vacation short, accepted a penalty of 400$ USD and paid to stay somewhere else says it all.
This was my second time at this resort but the LAST TIME.

I stayed here with my wife and toddler son in April of 2025 and September of 2025
In April I gave GPB a 5 star well deserved rating. Everything was above and beyond. The beach, room service, Food, Staff, cleanliness and modern style. We decided to come back and didn’t realize it is what is called low season in September and October. The price was great this time around and alot of elements were still 5 star. The cons I will say are as follows: the beach was flooded with seaweed due To tropical storms. The Room service staff were less equipped and cleaning was a bit poor. There were alot of mosquitos and sand flies that bite on our balcony and throughout the resort and beach. Off spray just wouldn’t cut it. And the main reason I won’t go back in low season were the few sightings of large sized cockroaches in our room and the main lobby outdoor area. Just a heads up if these are deal breakers for you.

We came here from Miami to celebrate with our family of 14. The rooms were nice but the tv and elevators were not working- the latter was very disappointing as parents with strollers were forced to carry them up and down the stairs.
Besides that as a mom with a child with multiple food allergies I was very pleased with the staff at the buffet who went above and beyond creating dishes that he could eat. Thank you to Joel, Lamuel and Amaury for making it a safe and enjoyable meal.

My stay at Nickelodeon Hotel & Resort Punta Cana was excellent from start to finish. The Flat Suite was spacious, spotless, and easily one of the nicest rooms I’ve stayed in. Dining was a highlight — Wok Wok served one of the best tuna and mango poke bowls I’ve ever had, and Verdello, the Italian restaurant, offered a great family atmosphere and delicious salmon.
Breakfast at Nick Bistro was so much fun, especially with the Nickelodeon characters greeting families — perfect for kids’ birthdays or special moments. The beach was clean and sargassum-free, and the infinity pool was beautiful and relaxing.
The Nick water park was another standout — very clean, well-maintained, and full of energy. Every staff member we met was friendly and attentive.
Overall, it’s an ideal resort for families looking for great food, comfort, and entertainment for the little ones. Highly recommended!

⭐️ 2 out of 5 — Declining Quality Since 2023 Stay
This resort has definitely gone downhill since my last visit in 2023. I’ll start with the negatives — the biggest issue was finding a roach in the bathroom! When I reported it, the supervisor, Julio, completely dismissed my concern, saying “this used to be a jungle” and implying it wasn’t a big deal since the room wasn’t dirty. Totally unacceptable for a so-called 5-star property.
Next, I had booked a package that included resort credits, which I planned to use for a room upgrade. When I arrived, I was told there were no credits on my account. I showed Francisco my confirmation from Karisma that clearly listed them, but he refused to honor it and said I’d have to wait until the next day to speak with a manager.
The following day, the manager did confirm that I did have resort credits — exactly as I’d said. However, by that point, we had to move rooms midday and cancel the plans we had made, all because it wasn’t handled properly during check-in. This could have and should have been resolved right away.
While the resort is family-friendly and a few staff members were genuinely great, the overall service, cleanliness, and attention to detail no longer reflect a true 5-star experience. For the price you pay here, you should expect far better quality and professionalism.

Went with my girlfriend for our anniversary. Stayed with the VIP package and it was incredible. Poolside room and bar, service was top, with our own butler as well. Food everywhere was great as well. The beach and variety of bars with friendly staff made the experience that much better. Highly recommend and incredible value.

We visited as a family with our two young sons (ages 5 and 4), and we truly had the best experience of our lives. The resort is very family-oriented, with daily kids’ activities that kept our boys entertained and happy from start to finish.
The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent throughout our stay.
Cristina and her team were incredible with the children—she made sure every day was full of fun activities. Our boys absolutely love love love Cristina; she quickly became the highlight of their trip!
Jesus at the bar was also amazing. He would always prepare milkshakes for the kids, and they loved watching him make them each time. It became a fun little ritual they looked forward to daily.
Pedro at the restaurant stood out as well. He was attentive, patient, and made sure we felt completely comfortable. He even made such an impression that one of our sons drew him a picture—something we’ll never forget.
This was a wonderful family experience, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

Our stay at Majestic Colonial was truly one of the most memorable vacations we’ve had at an all-inclusive resort. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to our amazing butler, who went above and beyond to make every moment feel extra special.
We also want to give a heartfelt shoutout to Fausto, our favourite bartender, and Epilido, our wonderful server at the French cuisine restaurant. Their energy, kindness, and great sense of humor really made a lasting impression on us, they helped make the trip even more enjoyable.
The food was excellent, always fresh, with tons of variety, and something new to try each day. The beach was beautiful, and while there was some seaweed, it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our time there.
If we had one suggestion, it would be to renovate the washrooms and bedrooms, as they’re outdated. That said, the entertainment was great, and the overall atmosphere of the resort made it easy to relax and have fun.
We’d absolutely return and are so grateful to the Majestic Colonial team for making our anniversary so special.

We had the most majestic time in the colonial resort. We began our trip meeting our very kind butler named Alex. She was very helpful, always kind, and supportive. We had a blast at the pool every day with Leandro Benjamin! His specialty drinks were my favourite. He always had a smile and he was just a generally funny and uplifting person. While doing aerobics we met our brother Jose. Anytime we saw Jose a new memory was made. Oh my Jesus, and don’t forget about the evening shows, the late night dancing and all the other activities we met Black Diamond who danced the night away with us. Bimba was a fun guy and everyone on the animation team was super energetic and welcoming. We will never forget the memories made here. Thank you to everyone who made my cousins bachelorette so special!

Great stay at the Majestic Elegance Punta Cana. I would rate this resort 4.5 stars. Food was really good especially during the gala night where we had steak, shrimp, lobster and crab at the Flavours buffet. Really high quality food. The beach was also really nice. Powdery white sand and clear waters. Wavy in the morning but calmer in the afternoon. The service was also really friendly. We had a toddler with us and the staff were always so friendly and accommodating wherever we went. Pools were nice and kept at a great relaxing temperature.
One con I would say are the cocktails. They don't use fresh fruit and limited ingredients and maybe not the best liquor so the bartenders make do. Had some not so great cocktails which we couldn't finish so in the end just stuck with wine which was good. The other con is that breakfast or lunch could use some variety we were getting tired of it in the end but that's just a minor complaint.

This is my second time at Majestic over 15 years ago we came to Majestic Colonial and it was
beautiful now 15 years later we came back to Majestic Elegance and another beautiful stay.
The animation group was excellent, they are animated and beautiful staff. Tutty Frutty, La Melasa, Onguito espectacular, they kept us entertained during our entire stay.
The restaurant services were excellent, we celebrated my girlfriend’s birthday at the Italian restaurant and we were catered to perfection by Mirungia, Hector, Keibal, Jesús. What an excellent staff you have. They truly go above and beyond to make guest stay excellent.

This has been an incredible vacation and resort. The staff in particular have been so wonderful. W a n n e who is our wonderful Bingo caller,juan or Butler. Our pool concierge. Roberto's the bartender and every other staff member who just is so welcoming. The one bedroom suite that we are in is spacious, clean and the air conditioning works well. Food is good. I wouldn't say five star but definitely 3.5 star in food. Huge amounts of selection. I would recommend this resort to families, honeymooners, birthday celebrants, and friends.

Casa de Campo Resort was absolutely exceptional. From the resort itself, to the food and the amazing friendly, helpful staff, it was amazing.
My husband and I have recently returned from a week's all inclusive holiday and it was my husband's birthday while we were there. The staff made us feel so special especially on his birthday.
The resort was absolutely stunning and there were so many different amazing restaurants to choose from as part of the all inclusive deal, and the food in every single one was absolutely delicious.
Our room was beautiful and kept immaculate by the hotel staff.
We have been to all inclusive resorts before, but this is in a different league! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! This resort delivers a true all-inclusive vacation experience. Their customer service is top notch—every staff member goes above and beyond to make you feel cared for. The rooms are beautiful, and the housekeeping and turn-down staff are phenomenal. Every detail is taken care of, which makes the whole experience relaxing and memorable.
My husband and I have traveled here every summer for the past 4 years, and what sets Casa de Campo apart from all other experiences is their customer service. Each year, the staff at the pool bar and breakfast buffet remember us! I imagine they meet hundreds of people every weekend, so being remembered by them is incredibly special and meaningful. For many years now, Carlos, Jonathan, Roberto, and Johan have been serving us at the pool bar (near the main reception desk), and their kindness and attentiveness have made us feel like family. Carlos even remembered my favorite drink from my previous visit.
Also, the staff at the breakfast buffet is top notch. Benjamin, Leonardo, and Roberto bent over backwards to make sure we felt at home and our coffee, water, and fresh smoothies were topped off at all times. And Benjamin remembered me from my previous visit, as well.
We will continue coming back to a resort that makes us feel like family while delivering top notch, luxury service.
We highly recommend the resort and the golf courses.

I just came back from the my favorite place in the world. Thank you very much for everything. Lois and Hoze are the best managers they always helping visitors with any questions. Lago had the best breakfast and lunch. Every day different food. Very polite waiters. Junior, Ramon, Jenny, Leon, Leonardo I don’t remember everybody’s name. Italian restaurant was the best. Absolutely beautiful. Outrageously priced but beautiful and a great time. Private. The showers were cold the whole time and the drain was backed up, so note that. The staff were delightful, the house keepers and the chef especially. A large group of us went for a bachelorette party and had a blast, we only left the house 2x in 5 days. The grounds were clean and secluded. It was overall a lovely visit.

While Casa de Campo remains at the top of luxurious destinations in The Caribbean and DR…they have to consider investing more in the Check-In process for visitors and Airbnb users and their current system to check in outside the hotel truly sucks!!
We’ve had a second BAD EXPERIENCE this past weekend while we stayed at a luxurious accommodation there.
The Check -in office located near the highway helpd us with the initial process and gave us an ID Card that was supposed to serve as an pass to go inside and outside the property.
The guards at the gate located near the highway asked us for our passports to access the property…while the main offi e told us to keep our passports in a safe place the guards denied our access twice and they treated us partially inappropriate foenthe type of service expected there.
Especially a gentleman with the name YUSNIER… who acted like a supervisor of the Guards and was wearing a white shirt with no uniform.
He was treating us like total criminals and due to lack of time in personally didn’t escalated this concern while there but this is definitely something that is not supposed to be happening in a place like casa de campo.
I’m not sure exactly what is the problem there but the office told me one thing and the guards something different… very confusing and very disturbing as well .
I’m not sure if the guards are employed by casa de campo or simply contracted … but they definitely acted as if they “Owned “ the right to access regardless if you are staying in the property or not .
I hope someone can read this post and answers me the questions below:
1- Is the ID card provided at the time to register with the check in office sufficient to access the property?
2- Is the Guard employed by casa de campo ?
I would like to find out who was right and who was wrong either the check in office or the supervisor YUSNIER .
I’m not accusing anyone in particular but since we have a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE at this #1 resort we want to voice our concern to make sure that casa de campo take the appropriate measures and correct their wrongs and train their personal properly so this situations are avoided … primarily to people and their families that go there to have ZERO stress and spend time relaxing from the busy life of the first world .
Lastly I want to say that we have been visiting the property since 2010 and always stayed at the hotel and never had this issue before … this is why I’m not so sure if Mr. YUSNIER was responsible for this and he didn’t apply to rule as the general public or if something has changed ..nevertheless I truly believe that casa de campo should expedite the check in process and for the visitors perhaps should create a digital QR code with access or something digital tag we could carry on our phones instead of the passport… the passport is a delicate document that can get lost , damaged or wet and is not something you can recuperate in a day … casa the campo should have the means to create something better in my opinion more this days when everything is digital .

The location of the resort is located on a beautiful beach with a perfect spot to watch the morning sunrises. The grounds are beautiful and sparling. The rooms are located in two locations. The ones closer to the pool and lobby and the main breakfast and lunch restaurant. Those buildings form a U shape connecting with the lobby. Those rooms are outdated but nicely located. The rooms outside that location are closer to the other restaurants and while not as close to the pool and the beach, they are newer and have an updated feel and are still within a short distance from the pool and the beach. The food was delicious at every place we went to. It would be hard to pick a favorite place. The TRS Lobby is a luxurious place to relax in the evenings. With excellent drinks at the lobby bar and musical entertainment.
What makes this resort amazing is the service. The staff are amazing from check in to check out. Our butler's Meldy and Jean were very helpful in assisting with any of our needs the whole trip. At the beach restaurant, Heilos, Angela and Stephanie remembered our names and even our room number and welcomed us warmly each day. At the TRS swim up bar Yeyro and Angelo served us drinks each day, remembered our orders and interacted with the guests in a way that made each day in the pool fun. The staff working the pool was amazing as well. Dolores and Eiln checked in on us very often making sure our drinks were always refilled and bringing us food from the grill if we ordered that. Dolores even remembered us from our previous visit last year. Everyone always had a smile on their face and would stop anything they were doing to answer a question.
We recommend the TRS/Grand Palladium brand to all our friends and family. This is our 12th visit to one of their resorts. The service is always amazing, the resorts offer a luxury experience that is consistent across their brand. Especially the TRS resorts.

We had a wonderful stay at TRS Turquesa in the Dominican Republic. The location is fantastic, right along the ocean, with beautiful grounds that are kept serene and well maintained. The rooms were clean and the pool was easily accessible, even after a heavy rain when everything stayed spotless and usable. While the rooms could use a bit of updating and maintenance, the amenities were adequate and comfortable.
The service was truly the highlight of our trip. Our butlers, Manuel and Sterling, were attentive and handled every request with ease. At the pool, Fairney was one of the best servers we’ve ever had—an absolute highlight of the week. In the lobby bar, Adames was our go-to bartender and was excellent, and Yeandra stood out as a fantastic waitress with warm, friendly service.
Our favorite restaurant by far was Kusko, where Wilkins took great care of us. The food was fresh and delicious (though I’d skip dessert), and the atmosphere was perfect.
From start to finish, the staff made our experience memorable. Even at departure, Christobal was a delight, helping us with our luggage and driving us to meet our transportation to the airport.
Overall, TRS Turquesa delivered a relaxing and enjoyable vacation, thanks to its beautiful setting and the incredible people who work there.

⭐️ 3.5/5 – Mixed Experience at TRS Turquesa
We stayed at TRS Turquesa for 10 days (Sept 23–Oct 3) and while there were definitely highlights, several issues made the experience less than perfect.
First, we had to move rooms twice — the first room was very dated with yellow stains in the bathtub, and the second had broken AC. The third room was much better, but these issues early on definitely affected the start of our trip. To their credit, the front desk and butler team handled the changes professionally after some back and forth, though it did take effort.
Service-wise, the staff were mostly wonderful — special thanks to Felix and Cristobal (drivers), Jesus at Helios for breakfast, and Luis at the front desk for their friendliness and professionalism. My second butler in Block 51 was excellent and really made a difference, though my first butler was not as attentive.
Food across the resort was quite good with plenty of variety. We especially enjoyed La Bohème and the Indian restaurant — both worth a visit. The pool area was another highlight and probably the best part of our stay.
That said, there are some areas that could be improved. Bartenders were generally not very friendly, and there were too many sales pitches from spa staff and travel service reps. We also got roped into a 5-hour presentation that we’d strongly suggest skipping. The constant push for tips and upsells throughout the resort was frustrating at times.
Overall, we did enjoy the trip and appreciated the resort’s amenities and lovely staff, but the room issues, upselling, and inconsistent service make it unlikely that we’d stay here again.

My partner and I came on holiday to the TRS Turquesa for 2 weeks on a much needed break. The facilities and staff are incredible, we have felt so very pampered and could not have had more done for us.
My partner even proposed and our Butler Meldy and Cesareo could not have gone out of their way to make it more special. Making sure that our room was dressed with petals when we got back. No task or request was too big. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and their team to anyone.

First time travelling to Punta Cana and we thought it was a beautiful resort and we had a wonderful time. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was great. The rooms were lovely, spacious and clean. A special shout-out to the animation team, especially Xavier, chocolaté, and baby face. They kept us entertained and laughing the entire time. Very great at what they do. Another shout out to Juan for being extremely friendly and having a great chat with us and our butler Leonel who was there to help with whatever we needed. Only downfall was that we wished we booked for longer! The entire family really enjoyed the trip and we will definitely be back again.

My first time in the Dominican Republic and I can’t wait to be back! My partner and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and it was so amazing.
The resort was clean, everyone was so kind and greeted us in EVERY passing, and the food was so good (with so many choices - we made it a point to try all the restaurants). I loooved the spa services - my partner and I did a couples beach-side massage and the couples spa package. My partner played golf 3 times; he absolutely loved the course. We also had a great time at the casino and Coco’s Disco! On that note, you have to try Mama Juana. It’s a unique drink from the DR that definitely does its job LOL.
ALSO - something special I’ve never actually experienced before was having a butler! Our butler, Alvaro, was sooo kind, so attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed/wanted, even if he had to do it himself. He also knew of our excursions outside the hotel and made sure we had everything we needed for them (towels, transport, etc.). When I had to cancel a spa treatment for feeling unwell (it was a hangover headache lol), he made certain I was okay (asking if I’ve taken medication for it, asking if I needed anything, asking how I was feeling after). We were looking to get away for some sun and relaxation. We started looking at different areas and some friends have visited Punta Cana in the past and just recently. This would be our first time in Punta Cana and all inclusive. So, the research began. Looking for something all inclusive and adults only. After looking at different resorts, reviews and even YouTube videos. Majestic Mirage stood out among the rest. So booked it. We booked a 9 day stay from September 30th. When we arrived at the resort where we were overly impressed just from the massive and beautiful lobby. Check-in was a breeze and then we were taken to our room by a butler! When we arrived to our room, once again ,taken away from the size and beautiful room that was ours for our stay. King size bed, 2 bathrooms, stand up tub, separate shower, 2 TVs ..... crazy! We also had a swim up room which was amazing. Pool right outside our room, lounge charirs, swim up bars, lounging coverded beds, etc...Everyday was full of sunshine and beautiful weather. Beach was gorgeous and clean clear waters. The whole resort was nicely laid out and every area was beautiful and nice detail. Restaurants and food was good. Staff were very friendly. Our Butler, Eduardo was A1 and always went out of his way. Anna Marie, one of the hostesses of the Restaurants was always smiling and greeted us like family. It's a great place for couples who just need to get away and relax and be pampered but even great for families as they have a lot of things going on. They also have an APP to inform you about day to day events, restaurant menus, etc.. We highly recommend this resort as we will definitely be coming back here! Enjoy

Majestic Mirage is our happy place! We just stayed for our 4th trip with our 5th trip already booked! We had a few people who stood out to us on this vacation.
Mayquel was our butler and he was so kind, very attentive, was there for us anytime we needed him and made sure to find us every day to not only check in on us but to actually talk with us. He even checked to make sure we got home safely. I would recommend him 1000 times again!
Jency! He looked for us every morning for breakfast and we were lucky enough to have him as our waiter for dinner a few times. He made us feel truly special and it was so nice meeting him. We will look for him every time we go!
Luis, Jimy and Charley at the adult pool bars were phenomenal. They really have the patience of saints! They made the pool bars fun and made excellent drinks!
Kelvin at the bar in the theater was THE SWEETEST! He was very friendly, had the best smile and always had our drinks ready for us.
Resort is a 10/10. We came for the beautiful property and will continue to come for the wonderful staff that makes you feel like family.

The Hard Rock Punta Cana is advertised as 5 star, but is really far from it. Our first room had a cockroach. When we requested a new room, they were resistant, and wanted us to stay in the room after they “fumigated”. The second room was better, but it is clear that housekeeping is not a major priority. Another major issue was being woken from a dead sleep every single morning around 5am from the fire alarm blaring. When I say every morning like clockwork I mean it. The food was horrific. Even the fresh fruit had an odd taste. We did enjoy the coffee shop, but the service was rather inconsistent. One day you could request something and then be told no the next day. The coffee was quite good though. The burger place advertised milk shakes on the website. The first night we were able to get one, but were told no every night thereafter. They claimed that the machine was broken. The steakhouse Toro had great service, but terrible cuts of meat. It was diner grade, and could not even be cut with their steak knives. This was really a common theme throughout every dining experience. The best food we had was poolside at the pool shacks. Though service was also inconsistent there. We were told no about a lot of items listed on their menu. The quantity of pools was great because you never felt crowded. The sax pool was our favorite. It was nice and quiet, but they would consistently not have hand soap in the bathroom and would run out of towels and supplies for the bar. Again we were told no A LOT. The ocean was beautiful, but the beach itself was not very clean. There were red flags posted daily (obviously no fault of the resort). You also could not sit peacefully on the beach without constantly being accosted by people trying to sell you things. Long story short do not expect 5 star treatment at this resort. Also, be sure to come prepared to speak Spanish everywhere you go. Thankfully I can speak it because very few workers know English well enough to assist you.

During my stay at Hard Rock Punta Cana, I was blown away by the incredible service I received from the entire pool and butler team — Scooby Doo (Pool Concierge), Mariluz (Pool Waitress), Elvyn, and Raymon (Butlers).
From the moment I arrived at the pool, Scooby Doo made sure every detail was perfect. He went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, always checking in with a big smile and making sure my area was set up just how I liked it. His energy and professionalism made my pool days unforgettable!
Mariluz was absolutely amazing — attentive, friendly, and always one step ahead. She kept my drinks full, made great recommendations, and made me feel completely taken care of without ever needing to ask.
My butlers, Elvyn and Raymon, were the definition of first-class service. They made everything so easy — from reservations to room arrangements — and were always quick, kind, and professional. They truly elevated my entire Hard Rock experience.
Together, they made my stay feel luxurious, personal, and stress-free. I couldn’t have asked for a better team. I highly recommend requesting them if you want a flawless and unforgettable experience at Hard Rock Punta Cana!

Our stay at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like VIPs — friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile.
The resort itself is stunning — beautiful beaches, crystal-clear water, and so many pools to choose from. The rooms were spacious, clean, and full of fun rock-themed details that made the experience unique.
The food was excellent with a great variety of restaurants and cuisines, and the entertainment was top-notch — live music, shows, and a vibrant atmosphere everywhere you go. The casino was exciting and well run, and the nightlife was just as lively as you’d expect from Hard Rock!

Scooby doo made our trip the best along with our butlers Rafael and Elvido. The bar staff and pool servers were awesome. The beach here is beautiful and the people that work here make it such a great experience. Try all the restaurants they’re all pretty good! And if you can get j to the legendary pool to have the people mentioned above then even better. It’s the best experience that way.

I stayed at the Hard Rock Punta Cana and it was an amazing experience! The resort is huge, clean, and full of energy. The staff is super friendly, the food was great, and there’s always something fun to do — from the pools to the casino to the beach. The live music and nightlife made every night special. My husband and I went to Sanctuary on our honeymoon. Overall, we had a good experience, but there were a few things that we were disappointed with. We had never been to an all-inclusive resort before this trip, so we were hopeful that this one would live up to the hype we had heard so much about.
The best thing about this resort is truly the staff. They were always kind and eager to help us in any way they could. Shoutout to Antonio with activities for being so fun and keeping the energy up by the pool during water gym! The service here was truly excellent. The grounds of the resort are absolutely stunning and very well maintained. We constantly saw staff making sure that high traffic areas were picture perfect. Another great aspect of the resort is Sanctuary Town. We found that it was our favorite aspect of the resort, and some of the best dining as well! We ate at least 5 or 6 pizzas over the week- they were out of this world! We also enjoyed the burgers and ice cream there as well.
Our room was in building 1, and we were on the first floor. Our view was incredible; however, our room looked like it needed some TLC. While very spacious, it looked run down and like it was in need of some extra cleaning as well. There was red lipstick on the bathroom mirror, the shower would leak when the room above us was using theirs (it even shut off completely once when the person above us turned theirs off), and it looked like nothing had been dusted.
This is definitely a chill, calm resort, which is exactly what we wanted. It was not crowded during our visit, and we never had to fight for a chair or umbrella at the pool. The beach was not available for use during our stay other than sitting in the sand, and there was caution tape marking off the shore, but this was not a deal breaker for us.
One of the biggest frustrations we had was the restaurants' schedules. The app would say the hours were one thing, while in actuality, it would be something different. We tried to eat at the steakhouse one night because the app said it was open, but when we arrived, it was closed. The staff didn't have an explanation, so it seems to be something that is out of there control. We never got to eat there even though we were there for a whole week. The Italian restaurant was just okay, as was Blue Marlin for dinner. Wok was our favorite of the sit down places we tried. The breakfast buffet was good, but got to be a bit repetitive since the same exact things were being served each day (at the time of our trip, the buffet was set up at Blue Marlin and not at its usual location). The food was very hit or miss.
If some of these issues were resolved, we would love to return, but if we plan to visit the area again, we would probably consider a different resort before coming back.

Our stay at this resort was excellent! We had an absolutely great time as well as rested.well Great friendly staff service, food, location and entertainment. .Our butler Carlos did everything he could to make sure our stay was extra special. He was always available to serve with anything we needed making sure that we were always satisfied. The only downfall was the closed beach due to accumulated seaweed this year. Fortunately all the 6 pools were amazing with clean crystal clear water. We will definitely go back. We recommended if you like a quiet, beautiful, friendly environment to have fun and rest.

Vacationed here for our honeymoon and we have all wonderful things to say. Joan, our butler was one of a kind and such a nice guy. The staff was always friendly, attentive and greeted us when passing by. We loved the restaurants - especially the Wok and the Cappriccio Italian. We got a couples massage with some spa time and it was absolutely lovely. We were there 6 nights and got to almost all the restaurants except sushi and pizza! We loved going to the coffee bar in the morning for Frappuccinos and then the pool each day - there were always fun activities going on as well. The seaweed did not bother us at all, plus there was a public beach next door. We’re so grateful for such an amazing honeymoon!

Recently stayed here for our honeymoon we stayed in the premium JR luxury suite. Which offered a jet bathtub on the balcony which was gorgeous for sunrise soaking which we did on at least three occasions. This room was plenty for us it offered a closet and a bathroom along with a king sized bed. The pools were great and there were many to chose from, staff would come around offering drinks or clean towels while you relaxed. One day they even served pina coladas out of pineapples! The food was equally good we tried all the different restaurants with our favorite being the WOK! This is a formal restaurant so dress code and reservations are required but it was worth it. Portions were large sometimes we could not even finish all the food. Would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a comfortable environment. We can’t talk much about the nightlife as we are early risers (hence the sunrise) but while talking to other I did hear there’s a nightclub which offered karaoke and dancing sometimes shows. We did managed to catch the circus show and that was incredible! Very talented performance.

We had an incredible time at Sanctuary Cap Cana and honestly have very few complaints. The food was absolutely delicious—truly a step above what we’ve experienced at other all-inclusive resorts. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. I do wish the minibar offered a wider selection of drinks, but that’s a small detail. While some pools were sparkling clean, a few could have been better maintained as we noticed some algae. Also, during our stay, the beach had quite a bit of sargassum, which is a natural occurrence and not something the resort can fully control.
Overall, the vibe of the resort was perfect for relaxation and enjoyment. We loved every moment of our stay and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended!

Coast-to-coast
Highlights: The spa was the star of the trip — I had the best massage of my life, and it truly elevated our experience. Scena restaurant was outstanding, and the beach dinner cookout was delicious with great atmosphere. The grab-and-go station was convenient, and the Living Room bar stood out thanks to Edger, who made a fantastic Negroni with his own twist. The pools were also beautiful, especially the chill pool with its swim-up bar and the big hot tub.
Room for improvement: Breakfast was limited and repetitive. The resort advertised six restaurants, but only two were open each day. Service overall was kind but inconsistent and in need of more training. For a brand-new hotel, our room still showed construction debris and sticky residue in the bathroom. The beach itself was just OK, with coarser sand and rougher waters than expected. The resort is also fairly secluded, so plan to stay on property or commit to full-day excursions.
Staff Shout-Outs:
• Beroni (Server): Friendly, attentive, and made dining experiences special.
• Edger (Bartender): Crafted excellent cocktails (including a custom Negroni) and created a welcoming atmosphere at the Living Room bar.
With more polish and the full dining lineup available in peak season, this could easily become a 4-star experience.

We enjoyed an unforgettable long weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday, and from the moment I stepped out of the car, the hospitality was exceptional. Check-in was seamless, our bags were promptly delivered to the room, and we were given a personal tour of the space. Inside, I was welcomed with a handwritten note, a birthday cake, and a bottle of champagne such a thoughtful touch.
Each restaurant we dined at seemed to outdo the last the food was consistently outstanding. The service throughout the resort was impeccable, and the cocktails at every bar were expertly crafted and delicious. Our room was spotless and equipped with everything I could possibly need. Be sure to pack a few power converters some of the outlets are European style. Although we didn’t spend time on the beach due to the sargassum issue, I was already aware that Punta Cana, like many Caribbean destinations, is facing this natural challenge. The staff made a genuine effort to keep the area clean, which I appreciated. I tend to avoid resorts that feel overcrowded or cater to the masses, and thankfully, this property offered a more refined and relaxed atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning next year for another long weekend it was the perfect escape.

Eight night stay, September 19 to 27. From arrival, we were treated like family. All of our needs were anticipated by staff in a caring manner. Instead of staying in one place, the concierge people walk around the resort and speak to everyone to see how they can make your stay better. We already miss Hoshi, Sergio, Tatiana and Estesi and it was a pleasure to have met Mario.
The lobby and grounds were stunningly beautiful with tropical foliage and reflecting pools along the walkways to everywhere. The property was easy to navigate with signs directing you to where you need to go. The property is also wheelchair friendly and there are elevators to all floors. All areas are immaculate and well maintained. Background music in common areas adds to the Caribbean vibe. Pool areas were beautiful and the large hot tub at the Chill Pool had hot water, which is not often found elsewhere. The Wet Deck pool was gorgeous with amazing views and sound of the ocean. You can also swim 24/7, if you choose. Chairs and towels were plentiful.
We have been to DR before and our dining experiences at the W far exceeded our expectations, as well as surpassing any other resorts we have been to. We knew it was off season, so it was no surprise to find restaurants open on a rotating basis. We also used room service, which was just as wonderful as any of the restaurants. We found their motto, "Whatever, Whenever, Wherever" to be absolutely true. Special thanks to Chef Fernando at Taman for meeting dietary requests. We would also like to thank the head of culinary and Chef Richard for making us a Dominican dish that we were craving! Thank you also to Tatiana, who gave a great cacao presentation and showing the extraordinary passion she has for dessert making. Muchas gracias to "Professora" from the "estudiantes" at the Outpost Cafe for the Spanish lessons, as well as prepping our coffee before we entered in the morning! Yes, they are open at 6 a.m. for sunrise watchers! Managers were visible in all restaurant areas and attentive during service. Special thanks to Michael for helping us enjoy our Sip, Flame and Sand experience at the beach. Wait staff was excellent at remembering our preferences and who we were. Special thanks to Junior and Baby A for going the extra mile to ensure our happiness.
All of the bars were wonderful. Just about anything you could dream of was available and presented beautifully. I did wish that they had tomato juice instead of Clamato, but there were plenty of other mixer choices. Our favorite was the Living Room bar. Edgar and everyone else working there were experts and very attentive. We also enjoyed the small bites menu. The mixology class led by Edgar was a definite do not miss, if for presentation alone!
We booked our trip six months in advance. We understood that the W would still be in its infancy when we arrived; not yet even having had a grand opening yet. In addition, we knew that it would be off season, when occupancy is low and things might be open on a rotating basis. For a luxury resort that offers superior service, extreme comfort and gourmet food, we believe that the W delivered on that promise. There were one or two very small glitches that were immediately rectified and one or two instances where we felt a waitress and bus boy could use a little bit more experience, but this did not detract from our overall impression that this is a 5-star resort. We are already planning our return.

This is a luxurious resort in a beautiful location. Intimate, not too big, not too small. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. We stayed in swim up suite which was right next to the beach. The room was spacious and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The facilities were top notch, with an easy to follow layout and a beautiful beachfront infinity pool.
Special mention to the Away Spa and their staff. Shot-out to Diana, Marisol and all the ladies who treated us like kings. We enjoyed the steam room, cold plunge- and hydro massage pools. There’s also a well equipped gym available to all guests.
Although not all the restaurant options were available every night, most likely due a low volume of guests, the available options were excellent. There wasn’t a single dish that we didn’t enjoy. However, the breakfast and lunch menu lacked in comparison to the dinner service. Alcohol options were plenty with many premium liquors to choose from.
Overall, our stay at the W Punta Cana was a blissful retreat and we will definitely come back.
