If I could give this resort 6 stars instead of 5, I would. The attention to detail, the service, the food, the rooms are all spectacular. My husband and I had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at this lovely resort. Our guests did nothing but rave about their stays and we had over 100 guests. When it came to planning our wedding, their wedding team went above and beyond to ensure our day was special. They were so accommodating and communicative that it made stressful situations, like a tropical storm, easier to navigate with their unrelenting support. I would recommend this resort 1000 times over and we simply can't wait to visit again.
Some recommendations: I recommend staying in the castle for the butler service because they help with reservations to some of the restaurants and keep you updated on events. The events they have daily and nightly are thoughtfully put-together and are great to participate in. Keep in mind that different restaurants are open on different nights. If you don't stay in the castle, they have an app through Marriott that makes it easy to keep track of all the events happening! Happy travels!

We chose this luxury resort to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary after doing a lot of research.
Before coming, we saw a few reviews that made us a little uncertain, but we decided to experience it ourselves — and we’re glad we did!
This resort is adults-only, which makes it a perfect place for couples who just want peace, quiet, and relaxation.
The staff are very friendly, and the food is overall good.
If I could suggest one thing, it would be to have some small evening shows or live music — it would make the nights even more enjoyable.
We also loved spending time at the pool bar, sipping cocktails and just unwinding.
I especially recommend the Asian restaurant — the food and service were both excellent.
If you’d like to receive a bit of extra attention, leaving a small tip goes a long way.
We truly enjoyed our 4-night, 5-day stay here.
Also, I highly recommend joining a local tour. It costs around $50 per person and makes for a fun and fulfilling day.
Just keep in mind that the resort photos online look a bit more glamorous than reality — so try to come with an open mind.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this resort!

We booked before they removed Sanctuary Town from All Inclusive. That is a mistake for Marriott. Fridas (tacos) was my husbands favorite and we just wouldn’t go if it wasn’t included. We also loved Wok, Cappricio and Steakhouse in that order. I also liked the sushi place in ST. Maybe it’s time of year, but we found it open and not crowded except at main pool. Where you stay matters I think and we were at Castle in a Swim Up. I am not comfortable being waited on hand and foot so I thought the butler (service offered at castle and villas) making reservations and helping with transportation and bringing us a champagne for anniversary was great. Didn’t need more. It’s not sandals, it’s not the four seasons, it's its own thing. Don’t compare it to anything else and you’ll have a good time. Also it’s called the sanctuary so it tells you what it is, it’s a chill resort. We loved the spa, we went twice. It’s not a big beach but tons of pools (the beach is still closed on property to swimming). Shout out to Rene, Carlos, Lugo and Cristian. And the whole staff at the Ocean bar making our stay wonderful

My husband and I went to Sanctuary on our honeymoon. Overall, we had a good experience, but there were a few things that we were disappointed with. We had never been to an all-inclusive resort before this trip, so we were hopeful that this one would live up to the hype we had heard so much about.
The best thing about this resort is truly the staff. They were always kind and eager to help us in any way they could. Shoutout to Antonio with activities for being so fun and keeping the energy up by the pool during water gym! The service here was truly excellent. The grounds of the resort are absolutely stunning and very well maintained. We constantly saw staff making sure that high traffic areas were picture perfect. Another great aspect of the resort is Sanctuary Town. We found that it was our favorite aspect of the resort, and some of the best dining as well! We ate at least 5 or 6 pizzas over the week- they were out of this world! We also enjoyed the burgers and ice cream there as well.
Our room was in building 1, and we were on the first floor. Our view was incredible; however, our room looked like it needed some TLC. While very spacious, it looked run down and like it was in need of some extra cleaning as well. There was red lipstick on the bathroom mirror, the shower would leak when the room above us was using theirs (it even shut off completely once when the person above us turned theirs off), and it looked like nothing had been dusted.
This is definitely a chill, calm resort, which is exactly what we wanted. It was not crowded during our visit, and we never had to fight for a chair or umbrella at the pool. The beach was not available for use during our stay other than sitting in the sand, and there was caution tape marking off the shore, but this was not a deal breaker for us.
One of the biggest frustrations we had was the restaurants' schedules. The app would say the hours were one thing, while in actuality, it would be something different. We tried to eat at the steakhouse one night because the app said it was open, but when we arrived, it was closed. The staff didn't have an explanation, so it seems to be something that is out of there control. We never got to eat there even though we were there for a whole week. The Italian restaurant was just okay, as was Blue Marlin for dinner. Wok was our favorite of the sit down places we tried. The breakfast buffet was good, but got to be a bit repetitive since the same exact things were being served each day (at the time of our trip, the buffet was set up at Blue Marlin and not at its usual location). The food was very hit or miss.
If some of these issues were resolved, we would love to return, but if we plan to visit the area again, we would probably consider a different resort before coming back.

Our stay at this resort was excellent! We had an absolutely great time as well as rested.well Great friendly staff service, food, location and entertainment. .Our butler Carlos did everything he could to make sure our stay was extra special. He was always available to serve with anything we needed making sure that we were always satisfied. The only downfall was the closed beach due to accumulated seaweed this year. Fortunately all the 6 pools were amazing with clean crystal clear water. We will definitely go back. We recommended if you like a quiet, beautiful, friendly environment to have fun and rest.

The first thing i noticed was 5 mins after being in the room with my shoes off, my feet were black. I could feel how filthy the floor was, that kind if made me feel weird from the start.
We arrived at around 5pm and were told we need to make reservations for the restaurants through the qr code. All the restaurants were booked out for the first 3 days of our trip which meant we had to eat at the buffet; breakfast lunch and dinner for that time. The food was terrible at the buffet. The first 2 restaurants we tried were quite average/ not very good (mexican and tapas) However the italian was amazing, had some very good options. The last restaurant we went to was ‘on the grill’ my partner ordered medium and i ordered medium rare and both steaks were rare. Good flavour tho.
The alcohol was alright, they always put a lot of alcohol in the drinks, however the alcohol was bad quality. The tequila, vodka and gin all tasted the same.
If you can get a good deal and you dont care about good food, i would recommend. The activities they had were so much fun, The rooms are nice, the beach is beautiful the workers are so nice.
DONT BUY EXCURSIONS ONLINE: They have many people in reception that work for these different excursion companies and you can get a much cheaper price through them especially if you buy 2 or 3 from the same person.

Impressive is not a bad resort , what made it so horrible for me it was my encounter with upfront customer service. I would hoped they do at some point improves on that dept . What made it special the rest of the trip ,to us it was the people that work within for impressive that we met along the way . First Rainer ( maletero) from picking us up to bring us to our room made the bad experience from front desk so much better for us . A few amazing staff members from the Buffet, Esperanza, Martha, the juice bar lady and some of the cook line folks -Thank You for treating us like family ! Great entertaining group ! Thx for spaghetti for taking the time to get to know you better . Keep up that spirit . Beautiful Beach view , and it was clean the whole time we were there !

Our stay at the Impressive Premium Resort & Spa was truly memorable and made our honeymoon extra special! From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and eager to help — even those who spoke less English went out of their way to assist us with directions and anything we needed.
We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a beautiful beach-facing room. The variety of food options and daily activities was excellent, and the shows each night were definitely worth both the time and money. The drinks at the Premium Beach were fantastic, and the bartenders were amazing with a bit of swagger to their service which added personality.
Special recognition to the kitchen, service, and housekeeping teams — you can tell they take real pride in their work. A very special thank-you to our butler, Jose Tema, who checked in with us daily to ensure we were enjoying our honeymoon and continuously offered ways to make it even better. Jose and the team went above and beyond by decorating our room and turning it into a truly special occasion. That kind of world-class service is something we’ll never forget.
We’d also like to mention Luis Vega, our destination service representative, who clearly explained the transportation process to ensure we didn't miss our flight and gave us great advice to make the most of our trip.
While the resort was undergoing some construction during our stay, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. It’s an amazing place to visit, and we loved all the different restaurant options that they had, enough for us to try a different style of restaurant each night. I’d highly recommend this resort to anyone — especially if you’re lucky enough to have Jose as your butler!. An amazingly friendly guy who was very humble to his core.

Big beachside resort. Overall experience was good. The biggest let down was the food. Snacks were often dry and tasteless. Staff performed well. I did not feel any pushing for tips. All inclusive was worth the money. One side of the beach was full of seaweed. Facilities are in quite good condition. Restaurants and coffee shops are included and well worth the visit.

What a lovely resort, we have been here for 4 days so far and I’m from the UK so might differ my opinion compared to other American reviews.
The pools are great, warm and they have activities in the pool to keep you entertained during the day. Though the floor is very crumbly and paint chipped everywhere but doesn’t ruin the overall experience of the pool. The beach is stunning that the hotel owns, like a little paradise there’s a bar on the beach as well just before you go onto it. All the drinks are exceptional for an all inclusive hotel (I’ve stayed in all inclusive and they’ve always been really crappy) but these ones are nice, they do slushy pina coladas and daiquiris and whole menu of inclusive cocktails, rums, tequilas, gin and tonic and so on.
There’s reps everywhere selling excursions and you can get them cheaper to what you’ve found on GetYourGuide.
The food is delicious that they have here, breakfast was my favourite there are so many options for food plenty of fresh fruits and different food every night and they also do freshly stone baked pizza every day.
The rooms are okay, the thing is the rooms are decent nothing amazing but beds are comfy you get a little balcony but the bedroom smells musty especially when you turn on the air con.
Also if you miss dinner there’s a snack bar open till 2am near the pool! This was very handy for us as we arrived at midnight and was really hungry it was a saviour!!

I loved our stay in Grand Palladium. We had some issues at the beginning but all the staff was super helpful. I had to thanks the amanzing entertainment team, Roselyn, Estiven, Mirian and the other guys made our stay suuuper special, we couldn't enjoy more. 💃🏼😍 The hotel had multiple bars and restaurants. The pool bar on the swimming pools are a must, you can enjoy having a drink while swimming. Ronald and Adrian, the guys there, are great Ambassadors of DR, telling us about the traditions... What an amazing experience! Very good from start to finish, the room was very comfortable and all amenities were great. Entertainment varied each night and was very good catering for all ages from morning until night, Mauro and Roselyn were especially a star getting everyone up dancing and having a good time. I stayed at Puna cana building 40. Room was beautiful and the private swim up was amazing. Maritiza was so kind and helpful. She always makes us feel like home away from home. She makes sure all the details are what you asked for. She planned our dinner reservations and anything and everything we needed she took care of immediately. Shes so good at her job and always greets you with a beautiful smile. She makes sure your vacation is relaxing and fun. I tried several restaurants and most were really good. David at Helios was extremely helpful to me because I have a nut allergy and he made sure I had no problems. He also told all the restaurant managers so i wouldn't have issues anywhere i went. Osias also made sure i got everything i needed and always stopped at the table to check on me. Such a wonderful young man.Stephanie and Angela are a good hostesses always trying to help everyone find a good table. Jesus i think is his name manager at La Boheme made sure we were taken care of and that we got whatever we wanted both times we went. He even helped get me a special dessert. Angel from travel club always makes sure to greet me and see if he can do anything to help me. Estarlin is one of the nicest guys there he always greets you with a big smile and he doesn't forget you. Humburto at travel club lobby is the best bar tender around. He will find a drink you like even if he makes it up on the go.The travel club drivers. The bathrooms in the rooms really need upgrading. I was put in a room with a loft which had mold and the front desk manager didnt want to move us. After insisting, i was finally helped and even upgraded.
Overall the service is great but Ambar in customer service should not be customer facing as she is nasty and clearly has a chip on her shoulder.

Food is good.
They are properly staffed and most staff is extremely helpful and friendly.
I would revisit but hope Ambar has been moved by then.

What I really liked about the property is that my room was within walking distance of the beach. I'm not sure if it was just a coincidence or because of the email I sent beforehand requesting a room close to the beach, but it worked out perfectly.
The property is very clean overall—the washrooms are spotless, smell great, and there are plenty of staff members working hard to maintain everything. They're all very friendly as well.
A special shoutout to Estefany from the Food Market, who was always welcoming, smiling, and attentive every time we walked in.
• I didn't like that we were approached by members of the concierge inviting us to have lunch at another Princess property. It wasn't clear what the purpose was, and in the end it turned out to be one of those membership presentations where they try to sell you a plan with fees and long-term commitments that are hard to get out of.
At first, I genuinely thought it was just a lunch, a tour of the hotel, and maybe some information about discounts as a way to build loyalty to the hotel chain. But no- I ended up feeling misled and like I had wasted my time. As soon as I realized what was going on, I clearly said that if I had known it was a sales presentation, I never would have agreed to go. After more than two hours of listening, I finally had to cut them off and leave.
Don't let yourself get pulled into this unless you're actually interested in their membership.

Everyone at this resort was so helpful with everything and incredible service. The entertainers are super friendly and treat you like family, and for entertainment in general it was the best I seen at any resort. Multiple games every couple hours, dancing, aqua fitness, prizes. Everyone a part of the animation team is amazing.

The room is big however the AC leaves something to be desired for Americans, it's not quite the same and as others have mentioned, leaves a sulfer smell.
There's normal things in the Caribbean to be expected, tiny bugs etc.
The food is good for an all inclusive, nothing special but decent and edible and abundant vs normal Caribbean all invlusives these days.
The entertanment makes up for a lot though.
They're fun and friendly and very entertaining esp Harky!

We have been to many all-inclusive adults only resorts in Punta Cana. Punta Cana Princess is an older resort and the rooms are not updated with all the new tech stuff (USB chargers, fancy lamps, etc.) but they are maintained and look nice. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. There was one large pool, compared to other resorts that have multiple pools. The outstanding part of this resort was the beach. Probably the best beach we have been to in Punta Cana. It is wide and nicely slopping into the ocean. There is no coral or rocks in the swimming area and the seaweed was at a minimum. The beachside bar was nice and bartend staff very friendly. The beachside restaurant/bar has very nice seating and is open very late. There were just a few small restaurants that had good food (a very unique fondue place was cool). A nice surprise was the main dining area with buffet. Every all-inclusive has these as the main place to eat and food is not usually very good. However, this buffet was excellent! Food changed a little every day and was very fresh and tasty. If you want to try an all inclusive for the first time to see if you like it, this is the place. Lots of good stuff and it won't break the bank. We upgraded to the Honeymoon suite with the VIP package, definitely worth the little extra money, if you can afford it.

Great resort for adult to relax. The reason I don't give this resort 5 stars is because of the food. With that being said, the servers made up for the quality and lack of variety. The animation team are awsome! Always keeping visitors involved. Each of them are great dancers as well. Having access to the sister resort, Tropical Deluxe Princess, is a plus. I Recommend this resort.

I had an amazing experience at punta Cana princess adults only. Me and my wife had an amazing experience! Jose at the reception was super kind and helpful. The chauffeurs and luggage folks were a huge help. The rooms are pretty decent only some cosmetic things but the pool was very nice and not too crowded. The restaurants were decent, our favorite spot was definitely the snack bar by the beach. I would say for the price you get here it’s the perfect investment to get to know punta Cana and be introduced to its all inclusives. I can definitely say the hospitality here is great. I loved this guy Freddy, super kind, our bartender Gregorio was nice and the parties in the lobby were great! The security around the beach at night made us feel safe and secure. The beach around this time had too much seaweed unfortunately, but you definitely get your money’s worth in food, drinks, swimming, and overall a great experience. The DJing could use some work, the food could have been a little better. That being said, I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a budget getaway and would return!

We recently stayed at this resort and overall had a lovely experience. The property is very clean, nicely renovated, and family-friendly, making it a great choice for a relaxing getaway. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, which we really appreciated.
There are, however, a few areas that could be improved:
The AC in the rooms needs an upgrade. We had to change rooms three times, and each one had issues with humidity and poor cooling.
The food could be better, especially by offering more kid-friendly options such as chicken strips, French fries, fried shrimp, and fried calamari. The seafood selection was also below expectations.
I noticed many reviews mention friendly staff, and while everyone we met was polite and helpful, the overall warmth and enthusiasm felt a bit missing — a few more smiles would make guests feel even more welcome.
We had some difficulty communicating in English, as around 80% of the staff we interacted with did not speak it well. However, this wasn’t a big issue for us — everyone tried their best to assist, which we truly appreciated.
Overall, it’s a beautiful, clean, and family-oriented resort with a lot of potential. With small improvements in comfort, food variety, and communication, it could easily become a perfect five-star destination!

We arrived on Sunday, November 24th, 2025, hoping to make this a special trip for our twin boys’ 13th birthday. Unfortunately, nothing was done by the resort to acknowledge their celebration, even though we noticed other guests receiving special attention for theirs.
We experienced several issues with our room. The air conditioning never worked properly—we had to place towels under the door just to keep the room somewhat cool. The toilet backed up, and we were moved to another room that had no window, which felt very uncomfortable and closed-in.
Connectivity was also a challenge. The Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable, which was difficult for us as traveling professionals who need occasional access.
At the sports bar, the bowling turned out to be mini bowling and quite expensive. The food there wasn’t great either—our loaded nachos arrived with only cheese sauce and none of the toppings listed. We had similar concerns with the beach restaurant; many of the fried items tasted old. The Japanese restaurant was another disappointment, especially for our kids, who were expecting a hibachi-style show that didn’t happen.
On a positive note, the staff around the pool area and at the buffet/market were friendly and helpful.
However, the excursion we booked to swim with sharks and stingrays was alarming. We were disturbed to see dolphins kept in a very small enclosure, which we would not have supported had we known. Additionally, our family was transported on a very small boat without life jackets, despite rough waves and yellow/red flags. Even as strong swimmers, we did not feel safe.
In our room, we also encountered several maintenance issues: a non-functioning phone, a smoke detector hanging from the ceiling, a loose shower head, and a very cramped toilet area with transparent glass. We requested an ironing board one evening and never received it.
We shared our concerns with management, but aside from apologies, nothing changed. We also sent an email and did not receive a reply.
This was our children’s first vacation, and we truly wished it had been a more positive experience. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this resort based on our stay. Wish I could give zero stars.

Great hotel, I enjoyed my stay. I came alone, but was not bored at all. All thanks to the animation team. A lot of activities, they try to involve and entertain the guests. I loved activities during the day, foam party, shows at night and dances. The only thing hotel can do better is food. There is a big variety of food but it is not as tasty. There are restaurants you can go to but its hard to make a reservation, most restaurants are all booked out for few days.
The territory is big and decent maintained, there is a shuttle between areas, birds walking around. The team is nice and friendly. Rooms are in good condition.

I had an incredible time at the Caribe Deluxe Princess! The resort is beautiful clean, tropical, and full of good vibes. The food was delicious, the pools were always spotless, and the beach was absolutely stunning.
But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the animation team, especially Flavio and friends they brought so much energy and fun to every activity. I joined the volleyball games with him on my first day, today my team won at the Olympics pool games and it was such a great time ,full of laughter and good spirit.
The night shows were also amazing full of color. music, and talented performers, the Michael Jackson performance was on point. The entertainment really makes you feel like you’re part of something special every night. Overall, this was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. Huge thanks to Flavio and the whole team for making it so memorable. Oh and for Leonardo for the bachata's classes.

Culinary Highlights:
The food was absolutely outstanding. From the breakfast buffet to the lunch and dinner options, everything was varied, fresh, and incredibly delicious.
Beautiful Beach & Great Facilities:
The beach was simply stunning — wide, clean, and truly picturesque. There were always plenty of loungers and Bali beds available, so finding a comfortable spot was never a problem.
Exceptional Service:
A special thank you goes to our butler Alex, who was always warm, attentive, and quick to assist with any small requests we had. Her thoughtful support made our stay even more enjoyable.
We would also like to highlight the amazing bar staff:
Minerva and Carlos at the adults-only pool bar, who were incredibly friendly and took wonderful care of us.
Fernando and Lloyda at the beach bar, who greeted us every day with a smile and provided fantastic service and great drinks.
Marino at the Piano Bar also made us an amazing good by cocktail as we were checking out!
A Small Note on Restaurant Service:
While the overall experience was excellent, we did notice that service in the restaurants could at times be a little slow or not fully attentive. This didn’t overshadow our stay in any way, but with just a bit more consistency, the dining experience would be truly perfect

A truly perfect vacation with excellent food, a breathtaking beach, and an exceptionally kind and dedicated team. We can wholeheartedly recommend this resort and would love to return in the future!

The rooms are perfectly ok, the beds are comfortable and you have enough space in the wardrobe to keep your stuff clean and organized. The Food is AMAZING! We are from Brazil and were initially very concerned about the food options at the Grand Bávaro Princess. I must say the resort didn’t disappoint us in any way. All the restaurants are wonderful, offering countless food options, and overall, you are well taken care of at all times. The restaurants themselves are also stunning — truly beautiful spaces that feel elegant and refined, almost like dining in a fine-dining venue. Everything is gorgeous.
The resort is huge, with a beautiful structure, and the rooms are incredibly spacious. We stayed in the Platinum category and have absolutely no regrets. The Platinum beach area is excellent, and the Platinum pool, located close to the beach, is also very good — much quieter than the main pool. The Platinum drink selection is far superior to the regular options, with many high-quality beverages and amazing cocktails.
I would also like to express my gratitude to the bartenders Marino and Glenys at the Platinum pool, as well as the bartenders at the beach bar. They are all extremely kind, friendly, welcoming, and always eager to make your experience better. Their service is truly outstanding.

Beautiful resort and beach, spacious rooms, and strong drinks. The relax pool bar was the best part of the whole stay and the bartender there was excellent.
Unfortunately, the food quality was extremely poor and left us ill with stomach cramps and diarrhoea for nine days. Buffet hygiene was very questionable with warm cheeses, stale bread, flies on food, and little variety. À la carte restaurants were slightly better but still average.
Service was very inconsistent. Some days we were treated well, other days we were completely ignored. Ordering food or drinks often took twenty minutes just to be acknowledged.
Prices inside the resort were outrageous. Twenty dollars for two bags of crisps, sixty dollars for a vape, seventeen dollars for a mini Pepto Bismol.
We also had money go missing from our room and were never informed where the safe was located. The resort accepted no responsibility and offered no resolution.
The buggy golf cart service runs constantly for very short distances and is loud and disruptive to pedestrians.
If you are travelling from the UK, this is not worth the ten hour flight. Pay a bit more and go somewhere more reputable.

We just returned for few short days in Grand Bavaro Princess to wrap up our Dominican Republic visit. Mind you we are from there, living in Canada now. The resort is beautiful and I loved the mix between human and nature, there are a bunch of pools, the beach is nice, restaurants are beautiful and the food was pretty good. However, I found that the few issues that arised during our stay was so completely ignored, that I had to warn future travelers.
We are a family of 4 with a two year old child. When we got to our room, it turned out that the mini fridge wasn't working (it was disconnected at the time), which we connected and kept waiting for it to cool.off as we had milk for the baby to obviously keep cool, while the temperature outside was 31 degrees. We picked up the phone to call the front desk and report the fridge- the phone was not working. We ended up going to the front desk 3 times in one day to flag the issues and they told us that tickets have been created and somebody will be coming to check both - fridge and phone. Never happened during our stay. We were also told that ice will be sent in the meantime for the milk - never happened (on 3 different occasions). We ended up going to the closest bar (having to find a plastic bag from somewhere in our luggage), so they can give us ice. The bathroom door wasn't closing, my husband took it into his hands to fix it.
We were there to celebrate my birthday and after making a restaurant reservation for 8pm, our group of 11 (8 adults and 3 kids) arrived and a very arrogant host said it is at 8.40 instead and nothing he can do. Long story short, we went into a very unpleasant 10 mins discussion (ON MY BIRTHDAY) during which he was clearly getting more and more aggravated and pretty much told me if i dont like "to go out there and file a complaint" and "nothing he can do". Mind you the restaurant was and remained half empty for the rest of the evening. Me, coming from customer service wasn't gonna let that go. Asked for the manager, at first he didn't want to bring him, raised my voice,a man in a suit quickly came. Filled him in on the situation, he didn't seem too concerned until I mentioned taking this issue to Google and Tripadvisor and those seem to be magical keywords and in the next 10 mins we were given a table. The host changed his attitude, came to ask again who's birthday is it, etc. And started saying how they will do a surprise, sign, whatever. We ordered appies, meals, desserts - not even a candle was brought out, much less any acknowledgement of the occasion. It seemed as he was just mocking the situation. Absolutely not the experience I imagined for the long planned birthday celebration at the Grand Bavaro Princess.
Would I go back - not. I will bring my cash to a place that makes me feel wanted and appreciated as a guest. Punta Cana is FULL of beautiful resorts. Hope they take a note and train their staff better.
Note: all the wait staff that worked on oyr tables was great! Wish they would just attend issues before they turn into unpleasant memorable situations.

On the fence about the experience here. Mostly positive experience but would probably not return (good to note that I've never been to the same resort twice, because I like to try new things, so this isn't a reflection of the resort per say)
☀️ Highlights ☀️
📌 The swim out for the family club rooms (block 9000), except for the fact that all the rooms at the back couldn't leave the swim out directly to access the main pool and water slides, which is where we were. Apparently I was the first person ever to bring that up, which is surprising to me.
📌 The bunk beds in our room were a hit with our kids. Also love that there's a pull-out mattress underneath, so the room comfortably sleeps 5 people.
📌 We had a lot of fun at the main pool! We never had trouble finding chairs for our group of 5, even when we arrived after 10 am, without rushing.
📌 The beach was beautiful! White and soft sand, except for the last two days where the sargasse was rampant.
📌 The number of à la carte restaurants. Great variety. We especially enjoyed La Focaccia (for the pasta) and Tanuki (food and show on a grill).
📌 The ice cream shop and Cappuccino café were yummy.
📌 All the buffet food cooked on demand is delicious, specifically the omelettes, the pasta and the crepes with Nutella!
📌 The cadence of the carts that go around the resort were mostly acceptable.
📌 Guests and staff were respectful.

📌 THE PATCHOULI INCENSE which was all over the main lobby, show area and main buffet. The odor gives me migraines and I couldnt stand it.
📌 The bathroom in the family club room is not well designed. The shower is huge but the rest is so small, you will definitely step on each other if you are more than one in there at the same time.
📌 The rest of the buffet food was subpar. I got tired of it very quickly.
📌 Why oh why do they have cream cheese in all their sushi?? I can't eat cheese and was so disappointed to know that at the Wasabi restaurant they were already prepared and they couldn't make any without it.
📌 The wifi was pretty terrible even from our room. Perhaps the premium was better but we didn't pay extra for it.
📌 Most staff would not greet us and say hi when we passed them on the site. In my past experiences, people are so friendly and are always throwing out Buenos Dias with big beautiful smiles. Maybe they were just having multiple bad days.

We stayed hear the last week od September. The grounds were beautiful here, but I would not go back. The staff wasn't very friendly except the bartenders (especially Jaime at the 24/7 pub). Our room smelled moldy and was not very updated. It was hard to communicate because most of the staff did not speak English. Room service was terrible. The Platinum area was definitely worth the extra money. We loved the Cappachino hut and PBG restaurant. The ala cart restaurants were very good as well. Be prepared to walk a lot. Everything is spread out. There are shuttles, but they aren't always available when you jeed one. Definitely not a 5 star resort - closer to 3.5.

Had a great stay with the family. Everywhere we went we were treated with so much genuine joy and excitement. Specially the entertainment team, they really made our vacation a success. Specially Luis, Oliver and Tuti fruity. They made us feel like family and made our days super enjoyable. The staff at the buffet helped us celebrate my dad's birthday, loved them too. Hotel is family friendly, and even di, it was not crowded and the pools are big enough to acomodate everyone.

Myself ,my best friend and her mom had the pleasure of staying in the Elegance club ,adults only section. It was amazing. Our rooms were close to the beach. We really enjoy private areas away from the large crowds. The staff was very helpful, special mention to Santa ,the waitress/ bar tender who helped me to feel better after some stomach upset with her BOMBA drink. The hotel is beautiful. My friend and I played pickleball 10 days, loved it! WE used a local cab from the airport instead of the hotel transportation, much more affordable and safe. Rooms were clean and it wasn't noisy. Large selection of good even though I am a vegan, i found many things to eat. Entertainment was good as well, beautiful long beaches to walk, we used the gym as well, great equipment and staff. Butler service was helpful az well. Would diffinately come back, thank you for a perfect stay.Only thing I would recommend is screens on the patio doors.

This is our second time here and we are absolutely in love with this place. Everything about it has us wanting to come back for more. We will be back sooner rather than later. Ana Marie in the patio bar is top notch! Robin’s service we had at the steakhouse was unmatched. The entertainment crew throughout the entire resort is untouchable. This resort is absolutely beautiful! It is very well maintained and the workers are always doing something to make it better such as painting, cleaning the pool, and making sure the grass and flowers are nice and pretty. The staff at this resort go above and beyond. Our butler Santiago, let us know the itinerary everyday and was always one call away with whatever need we had. Oliver is an amazing person you want to meet when it comes to entertainment. He sat with us on the beach and talked with us as if he knew us. We had an AMAZING bartender at the swim up bar in the adult only section. I never got his name but he truly made the whole trip. The food was overall very tasty. We always went for breakfast at sea & sea which overlooked the beach. The food was always fresh and tasty. No matter what restaurant you went to, the waiter/waitress always had water for you as soon as you sat down. Our favorite spots for dinner were the Italian restaurant and the steak house. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and the bed was always made. I just want to give a shoutout to the entertainment staff who put on a fantastic show every night, we always looked forward to a show. Overall, this resort is a great place to relax, drink, and spend time with whoever you go with. The only downside of this resort was the nasty stares and comments we received from other guests. I do not recommend this resort to young couples who want to do stuff. There isn’t much to do except sitting by the pool or the beach. We are very go go people and found ourselves bored most of the time. With that being said, that has nothing to do with the resort itself. I would absolutely go back to this resort if I wanted to just relax. Thank you for a great week Majestic Elegance, but please tell your guest to be a little kinder next time. We all paid to come here :)

My husband and I have recently returned from a week's all inclusive holiday and it was my husband's birthday while we were there. The staff made us feel so special especially on his birthday.
The resort was absolutely stunning and there were so many different amazing restaurants to choose from as part of the all inclusive deal, and the food in every single one was absolutely delicious.
Our room was beautiful and kept immaculate by the hotel staff.
We have been to all inclusive resorts before, but this is in a different league! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! This resort delivers a true all-inclusive vacation experience. Their customer service is top notch—every staff member goes above and beyond to make you feel cared for. The rooms are beautiful, and the housekeeping and turn-down staff are phenomenal. Every detail is taken care of, which makes the whole experience relaxing and memorable.
My husband and I have traveled here every summer for the past 4 years, and what sets Casa de Campo apart from all other experiences is their customer service. Each year, the staff at the pool bar and breakfast buffet remember us! I imagine they meet hundreds of people every weekend, so being remembered by them is incredibly special and meaningful. For many years now, Carlos, Jonathan, Roberto, and Johan have been serving us at the pool bar (near the main reception desk), and their kindness and attentiveness have made us feel like family. Carlos even remembered my favorite drink from my previous visit.
Also, the staff at the breakfast buffet is top notch. Benjamin, Leonardo, and Roberto bent over backwards to make sure we felt at home and our coffee, water, and fresh smoothies were topped off at all times. And Benjamin remembered me from my previous visit, as well.
We will continue coming back to a resort that makes us feel like family while delivering top notch, luxury service.
We highly recommend the resort and the golf courses.

Absolutely beautiful. Outrageously priced but beautiful and a great time. Private. The showers were cold the whole time and the drain was backed up, so note that. The staff were delightful, the house keepers and the chef especially. A large group of us went for a bachelorette party and had a blast, we only left the house 2x in 5 days. The grounds were clean and secluded. It was overall a lovely visit.

Room service and location, were great! Literally no complaints! This place was really made for kids, but Also with parents in mind, because they know happy parents also equal happy kids lol. The food was the only meh thing… But it was only meh In a few places - Like the burger for room service, soft, but the burger in the restaurant was great. Pizza and one place sucked, but it at another place was really good etc. junior helped us a lot and there was tones of things to do. 10/10 reccomend

Second time here. Nice resort and amenities at a reasonable price. The quality of the food and service went down over the last ten months. The staff are very nice but not as many speak English this year so it's hard to get answers to questions. The prestige salespeople are very obnoxious. Overall, I'd recommend this resort for young families.

It was an amazing experience! One of the best all inclusives I have been to. Went there with our 3 kids, the resort is packed with kids friendly areas and activities. I usually read other people’s reviews to help me choose a hotel. So, I hope this is helpful to you. We had travel complications and missed one night at resort. We did call and explained wasn’t looking for no compensation but was looking forward to go straight to our room when we arrived. We waited for 2 hours until we got in our room. The TV had another guest name so we couldn’t order room service from the TV. I called for it to be fixed nobody came. We didn’t have hot water another fix. We didn’t receive our pictures we paid for. I could get over the language barrier but service is service. Whether it’s an expensive or less expensive stay and in this case it was expensive stay the service should be exceptional. Our room was the plunge pool room which was beautiful and the view was amazing. Have extra money because you will have to pay for different experiences if you like too.

We traveled November 29th 2025 to nickelodeon punta cana for 1 week my husband myself and our two daughters ages 8 and 6 First impression it was beautiful clean and colorful...decorated for xmas and the staff was accommodating to our needs when needed. We booked the character breakfast and the family sline ( cost extra) but worth it to see the smikes on our daughters faces Juan Carlos and the entire entertainment team where great and mad sure the kids where having lots of fun.
The food was great especially all the ala cartes. No complains just all around great time.
We will be back for sure.

My stay was great. Came with the family for thanksgiving and mom’s bday. Beautiful resort, food was good, the service in some of the restaurants was very slow, but it didn’t take away from our experience. The entertainers at the resort were so great and always tried to make everyone dance and do the daily activities. Bolivar was our butler throughout the trip and he was more than awesome, was very accommodating and answered any question we had at any time of the day. He even prepared a very nice surprise for my mom’s bday in the room. He genuinely wanted to make our trip the best he could, would highly recommend!

Every employee i interacted with was very helpful and kind. Entertainment was awesome. Lots of fun events. Drinks are great (some bartenders are better than others but everyone is great). The sand on the beach is super fine and soft. The rooms look very nice at a glance but ours had a few items that didn't work. The masseuses were great but the tables were very uncomfortable. Fun place to spend a vacation.

Majestic Mirage is a great hotel and a perfect place for a family vacation. There is a lot to do, a good gym, and separate adults only buildings for guests who want a quieter atmosphere. The beach is amazing, we tried the banana boat attraction and had a lot of fun. The foam party in the pool was also a big highlight for us.
The only thing I would love to see is a bit more variety in the food.
I want to give a special thank you to our butler Bolivar. He always made sure we were taken care of, prepared a beautiful birthday surprise for my wife, decorated the room and made the whole day feel very special. We truly appreciated his kindness and attention.

Roberto and the entertainment team were fantastic. They were consistently kind and always around to help. They had amazing performances every night and multiple times a day. They had fun activities planned, and they were all very personable and very easy to get along with. Definitely make time to go to the theater. The shows are great, and worth the time. Also make sure (if you are a guy) that you bring some long pants for some of the restaurants.

Every employee we interacted with was very nice and helpful. Our butler, Omar, went out of his way to provide my wife with a very memorable birthday. We are so thankful.

We really enjoyed our stay at TRS Turquesa. Some of the highlights were the ocean, the pools, and the service. The rooms were acceptable, but had some quirky features or needed minor maintenance.
The Las Torres buffet was a really. The sit down à la carte restaurants were hit or miss. My two favorites were Kusko and Bhogali. Don’t expect to have fast service at the restaurants, it is more of a laid-back environment. Expect to spend a minimum of an hour.
Our Butler, Jean, and Steven at the building 58 pool bar, both provided extraordinary service, were polite, and always had a smile.
As a recommendation to the resort, I recommend more lunch options and even some quick grab and go food locations. Helios needs to change up their morning buffet options. 95% of the items were there every day. Some variety would be great.

We had a terrific time at Turquesa this past week. Played lots of pickelball on excellent courts. Food was great, room was always clean and well stocked.
Staff were fantastic!! in particular Edwin at the pickel courts and Suleica our butler at building 53. They both went out of their way to make us comfortable and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks for being so welcoming and kind.
Will return for sure.

We had an amazing stay at TRS Turquesa in Punta Cana. Everything about the experience was excellent. Our butler Edward was the absolute best. He was kind, generous, attentive, and made our trip feel effortless and special.
The food across the resort was fabulous. We tried Helios by the beach, Kusko which serves Japanese and Peruvian fusion cuisine, La Boheme which offers beautiful French dishes, Capricho for international options, and El Dorado Steak House in the adjoining Palladium area. Every restaurant was delicious and the service was wonderful.
The pools were amazing and always very clean. The drinks were great everywhere we went and the bartenders were friendly and fun. The maids kept our room spotless each day. We also had massages at the spa and they were incredible and very reasonably priced.
Overall TRS Turquesa exceeded all of our expectations. The staff, the food, the relaxing atmosphere, and especially Edward made this an unforgettable vacation. I highly recommend this resort and I would happily return.

Amazing experience!! The service was phenomenal, all needs taken care of. Our butler, Edward was attentive and helpful and very friendly! Elin, was our server and bartender throughout our stay and she made the trip! So happy to help and great to be around! The entertainment staff, especially Kendall and Jesus, were so engaging and cheerful! Resort was clean and provided everything we needed for a great vacation! We will definitely be back!

Very mixed experience after a week here.
Let’s start with the good. The drinks were almost always great. Our butlers in building 55, especially Kris, were responsive and helpful. The gardens on the resort were well kept and beautiful, so were the sports courts. The main pool was nice, though we could never find a chair as they were all reserved at all times with no enforcement of the explicit no reservation policy.
However, the beach was filled with sargassum the whole week we were there. While this problem exists elsewhere, this resort never bothered cleaning the seaweed more than once a day. The beach was also at the very end of the complex which means you’re next to several boats and vendors - not super relaxing. Talking about vendors, they would bother us several times per hour while we were at the beach, including people who were employed by the resort itself. Does that seem like a five star experience?
The food was average at its best. The buffet food was always lukewarm, both the food that should be cold and the food that should be warm. I also got very sick from the food for the last few days, even if I had been carefully washing my hands and drinking only bottled water.
I know the resort will answer this with a generic response saying that they hope I will have a better experience next time but I can assure you I will never spend another week of vacation there. There are plenty of better, less run down hotels to visit for the same amount they ask for or less.

My stay at Hard Rock Punta Cana was absolutely incredible — but what truly made it exceptional were the people who went above and beyond for us every single day.
First, I need to highlight Yuhansi and Elvyn at the Isla Pool. Their energy is unmatched! They made every moment by the pool feel fun, relaxing, and personal. Whether it was making sure our drinks were perfect or checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, their service was top-tier. They’re the reason the Isla Pool became our favorite spot on the whole resort.
But the stars of our trip were our butlers: Reydisson and Elvyn (yes, another amazing Elvyn!). They were phenomenal. Always available, always one step ahead, and always ready to make things happen — no matter what we needed. From reservations to surprises to making sure our days ran smoothly, they took care of everything with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. They didn’t just do their job well — they elevated our entire experience.
Because of them, our stay at Hard Rock Punta Cana felt effortless, special, and unforgettable. I can’t thank them enough for the attention, warmth, and dedication they showed us. They truly made our vacation better in every way.
If you’re visiting, ask for them. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic service around the Isla pool. Every day the pool area was extremely clean and friendly. The wait staff was very quick with our service. The music was perfect. It was so good and the service was amazing! The people are so fun and bright ! They really are fun to be around !! I would come here every year if I could! Scooby was such a vibe and he was so funny ! The location was so tropical and I got the perfect tan! The place is huge so don’t get lost!!! I really really liked it here , I’m definitely coming back!!! Anderson helped us a lot throughout the whole trip out!! He is so organized and he does his job really well!! The bar in the beach was also really quick to get my drinks and Johanna,Elvin, jahmaydee , they really helped a lot . I really loved their company!! They were so kind and they really brought the vibe to the beach!!! Pablo got me all my food that I ordered as soon as I told him! He is really generous and he really helped as well!!! I would definitely recommend coming here!!

This is an amazing place for families. They have lots to do like waterpark, theaters, bowling, arcade and just lots of space. The resort is very large and the service is great as the staff goes above and beyond to help. Rooms could be a bit more cleaner but they were okay. AC really drys out the air and takes some time to get the room cold. The resort is really large and so there is no need to run to reserve spots in the morning like other resorts. Food is okay for vegetarians and vegans but there are options like a vegan burger which is hard to find at any other resort. We would come back as they have a reach nice beach front, lots of space, good enough food options, lots of pools, and service is great. Just watch out for the sales folks who pretend to be your friends.

We just got back from a family vacation at Hard Rock Punta Cana and overall had a really good time. I went with my wife and our two kids, and there were plenty of fun things for all of us to do throughout the week—pools, activities, and enough going on that the kids were never bored. They absolutely loved it.
The food was good across the board, with lots of variety, but there were high wait times for a few of the more popular restaurants, especially at peak hours, so be prepared for that. Our room was good—comfortable and clean—and the service overall was solid. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
One annoying thing was how hard it was to break 100s or get smaller change; it became a bit of a hassle at times. I’d also strongly recommend avoiding the membership / timeshare-style presentations—they’re a waste of time and can cut into your vacation.
The beach itself is nice and the water is great, but the area could be cleaned up a bit more to really match the rest of the resort. On the plus side, the main lobby is lively and fun, with good music and a great crowd, so it’s a nice place to hang out in the evenings.
All in all, we had a good family vacation, and the kids had a blast. A few minor frustrations, but a fun, memorable trip.

We just returned from an incredible week at the Hyatt Zilara, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The quality of the food and the variety of restaurants were outstanding—far beyond any other hotel we’ve stayed at. The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming, with an attention to detail that made us feel like part of the family.
We stayed in the Zilara section, which is adults-only, but the resort also offers the Ziva side for families. Every evening featured fantastic shows, along with surprise performances by talented artists in different areas of the resort.
Our room was spacious, spotless, and offered a breathtaking view of the beach and ocean. Housekeeping was impeccable, with daily cleaning, evening turndown service, and even midday visits to ensure we had everything we needed—water, towels, and more.
I highly recommend trying the Blind Butcher experience. This specialty restaurant, available at an additional cost, is absolutely worth it. The culinary experience was phenomenal, complemented by live performances every 15 minutes, including dancing and singing acts that made the evening unforgettable.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Pedro Thomas and his entire team, with special recognition to Jenny and Darling for their exceptional hospitality. A big thank you as well to our butler, Osiris, for his attentiveness and availability throughout the week, and to Anthony and Daniela from The Pier restaurant for their outstanding service.

From the moment we arrived, our experience at Hyatt Zilara Dominican Republic was nothing short of spectacular! Jesus welcomed us warmly at check-in, setting the tone for an unforgettable vacation. Our butlers, Junior and Lois, went above and beyond every single day—whether it was reserving the perfect poolside spot or anticipating our every need with a genuine smile.
At the pool, the energy was incredible thanks to the amazing bartenders—Alfoncina, Maria, and Jose—who kept the drinks flowing and the good vibes alive. Ignacio, the talented mixologist, crafted the most creative and delicious cocktails we’ve ever had, while Georges at the bar always made us feel like old friends. Carlos, the barista expert, started our mornings right with his perfect cappuccinos and warm personality.
Our room was always spotless thanks to Magalis, our wonderful housekeeper, who added thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. At the restaurants, Yamilett, the hostess manager, ensured we always had the best tables and service. Edgar Garza was ever-present, checking in to make sure everything about our stay exceeded expectations.
A special shoutout to Crystal and Catherine, the incredible masseuses at the spa—their massages were pure bliss and left us feeling completely renewed.
Every member of the team radiated warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. Hyatt Zilara Dominican Republic is truly a slice of paradise, but it’s the people who make it extraordinary. We can’t wait to come back!

We had an amazing stay at Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana! 5 nights was not enough! The property is stunning, the service was impeccable, and there’s plenty to do or relax. We loved Manuel with entertainment and Larissa our butler (included with Club Level)! I was waited on hand and foot! Very different from my normal life as a mom. We went for our anniversary and can’t wait to come back with our kids!!

What a great all inclusive stay! We typically visit the Excellence Resorts and this experience topped it. Great accommodations, top tier service, extremely comfortable pool chairs, great food and variety. The buffet and staff were incredible!
